In Germany, Obama urges closer U.S.-Europe ties

too bad the germans dont vote for the US presidency.... whats he doing over there anyway giving his speech in english... the nerve, he should have spoken in german.... shouldnt he be in the states studying spanish,,,

I wonder why this article does not mention that the two most popular bands in Germany gave free performances (a rarity for them) prior to Obama stepping on stage. Was the crowd there for Obama or the music. Our news media does not permit us to make up our own minds, they fail to tell us the complete story.

There was 2 very popular German Music Bands opening for the Media Rock Star Obama. Also did you know that he didn't even go & visit the wounded soldiers at the Military Hospital there? This empty suit has no experience to lead this great Country. Anybody who votes for this guy is a Sheep following the bias media. His judjment on his Pastor, & friends is reason enough to never vote for him.

get your facts straight....Obama was asked by the military not to visit the soldiers in the hospital because he was on a political tour, running for the presidency, of Europe as opposed to being on a personal tour. He abided by the military's request. Your hatred is too obvious.

Face it. It's not about Obama it's about a change in America. We are suffering because of Bush's arrogance and his followers, who sought economic gain via the Iraq war.

Radio stations bragged about destroying Iraq within 10 days and taking control. Unfortunately, it wasn't so easy. We have certainly turned the world against us.

Hopefully there won't being any cheating of American votes this presidential election year.
