Have you guys heard how argentina is turning into a junta again?

Pretty much all the news is controlled by government and the media aren't allowed to report the inflation rate in the country.

How dumb do they think the argie people are? Obviously they have been dumb enough to believe the rhetoric about the falkland islands but are they so dumb they don't notice the price of everything going up 20% every year?

just to put things right, a country can't BE a Junta, but it can be RUN by a Junta, as Argentina once was. All the word means is "council", anyway. The Town Halls in Spain are called the "Ayuntiamento" or "Ajuntiamento", because the Town Council is a "Junta".

As for your weird claims about an anti monopoly law over the argentine media: Such a law obviously doesn't exist in Argentina, otherwise the government wouldn't have a monopoly, would it?

You seem to be very positive about your president. Why is it she doesn't do interviews and instead just does monolouges to camera? Why is she scared of a free media?

Well, I am sorry, we seem to share the same calculation methods with Argentina then!
In Britain, some of the items in the shopping basket aren't even on most people shopping list!

A lot of the price increases in Britain are hardly taken into account when calculating the official rate of inflation. Why?
The figures are massaged, so as to show low inflation, where you and me know it's a lot higher.

The cost increase of some components like house insurance (12% increase), car insurance (up to 45% increase in 3 years), public transports (9% increase), gas, electricity, water, medical prescriptions, fuels, food, building material, etc... are hardly reflected in the official inflation rate the government would like you to believe is around 3.5%.

In fact, when prices increases, it's always at a rate higher than the official inflation. Strange, no? Don't you think they 'make it up' too?

Just by maintaining the current level of taxation on fuel, the Chancellor in fact increases cost on everything that is transported, delivered, exported, etc... It's a snowball effect.

I am not defending Argentina (in fact, I don't know why you attack it), but there is nothing for us to brag about!

A junta or military junta is a government led by a committee of military leaders. The term derives from the Spanish language junta meaning committee, specifically a board of directors. Sometimes it becomes a military dictatorship, though the terms are not synonymous.
