You may have misunderstood my point. I am not taking a position on either side. Neither opposed your view. As an Ethiopian you have a right to support or oppose any political party. You may also choose to have an independent opinion. That is a god given right…. What I dislike is, when either side calling names or support /oppose a person political view based on the a person’s ethnicity.. Ethiopians political views shouldn’t be based on ethnicity back ground. People should stand for what they believe in... in order to establish democracy in one country one shouldn’t isolate other group of people, we need to be able to have an open dialogue and understanding, then you may come to a compromise, that is democracy!! That is all am saying.

I hope Meles Zenawi is not dead. Natural death is not for guys like him. He should be stabbed and dragged on the street before he is shot like Gaddafi for all the hardship he brought upon our people.

I am an Ethiopian ethnic amehra, I have a problem with all the rubbish comments posted every day and day out.
Ethiopia is for all Ethiopians, that say we are in the 21st century ,you may agree to disagree in political opinion, however attacking some ones personality or his/her ethnicity will not win the hurt and mind of the beloved Ethiopians. In the past our fathers and grand fathers fought for Ethiopian sovereignty regardless of their ethnicity, now in the 21st century we are thinking like a savage. Tigre, Amerah Oromo i.e.. All under the same umbrella called Ethiopia are one love one people. There is nothing even more pathetic than to discuss to discuss a feeling in one persons health or even death.. Agreeing or disagreeing in policy or opinion is a functionally of a normal human being. Otherwise the road we are taking is not even closer to the democracy we are all dreaming about.
I agree with this idea. As one people lets not judge others by their ethinic origins. We know what all ethiopians are experiencing with the regime. This holds true even for the Tigrians. Do you think there are no individuals from oromos, amharas, or other ethiopian ethinic groups benefited from this rule. I personally know many tigrian mothers who have lost all their children by the war with the Dergs but sitll begging in the streets of Tigri towns. And we know what meles' rule did to us but still I dont think his death to be the solution to end that tyrantic rule. Lets think that way. Discussing the death of just meles would not mean a thing.

I can see a lot of annoying arguments. Guys don`t use bad expressions!
