Construction of controversial Baltic Sea pipeline to start next...
EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Construction on the controversial Russian-German gas pipeline through the Baltic Sea looks set to start next year, after Denmark recently gave a green light to the environmental impact of the project, Nord Stream's pointman in Brussels told this website.

precautionary measures are going to be taken, this pipeline will solve a lot of problems for us all. if the baltic sea is already damaged then who had done, people in your country ? |

I, me and myself......only worry about yourself and don't consider that there are potentially major risks with this pipeline as there are with all gas and oil pipelines. The list of environmental disasters on the planet are too long to list. Any issues here will in fact affect you as well... and look at Russias history on environmental issues - many of the Baltic sea issues rest with their policies - past and present. Would you trust them to do the right thing? |

Yeah right, no risks at all... Baltic Sea has been included on the list of particularly sensitive sea areas, like, for example, The Great Barrier Reef in Australia:
