"We don't want to destabilize the government, never," Cholango said. "What we want is for the government to hear our voice of protest against large-scale mining and in defense of our water." Like Native Americans in the USA, Correa's government has taken the Indigenous peoples rights away and in the end the Amazon will be lost not only to Ecuador but to the world.

At the protest yesterday, Correa bought his protestors. Feed them with free food and gave each of them $20.00!
In order to make this copper mine happen they have to cut the top off the mountain, dig down 800 meters and 1.5 meters wide.(Terraced fashion). Once mined the soil and rock has to be mixed with water and chemicals. Don;t ask where this contaminated water ends up....this will be the first of the destruction of the Amazon as we know it. Many more mines are to be developed!

The greedy gringolandia is upset because The Great Canadians won the bid for mining in Ecuador. And why are you laying ''At the protest yesterday, Correa bought his protestors. Feed them with free food and gave each of them $20.00!'' this was done by the opposition and you know that. You are on their side. You also now that the cia give 14 millon to gutierres in order to distabilize the democratic, legal elected government. Correa is here to stay for the next 20 years. So you better go back to gringolandia.

No need to talk about Correa and what he did with free food and paying $20.00 as you have blinders on and not willing to see a Republic become a dictatorship with Correa having all the power!

Correa deserves all the power, He is not a gringolandia muppet like the previous presidents of Ecuador who were ass kissers. The dictator is HUSSEIN BARAK OBAMA fyi. He is the one who wants to dictate around the world but the game is over. Ron Paul is the next president and he is like Correa.
