Hey guys, lets talk peace. We are all Africans. Remember the boundaries dividing the African countries were set by the colonialists. Our minds were poisoned and conditioned to hate each other. We were set upon each other so that as we fought between ourselves, we would be plundered. It still holds to today.
The bitterness and insults we are witnessing in this column don't benefit anyone. Lets talk as people from one region. When famine strikes, it engulfs the whole region. Similary, when floods come, we all cry the same way. When there is an epidemic, we all suffer the same way. These are our enemies that we should be talking of fighting. Killing each other is not a solution to any problem.
I wish we could be called one country..Africa!
Lets unite and make our mother Africa proud! We can do it. We can talk love as brothers and sisters. Let us set aside the hatred that we have been taught and embrace brotherhood.

There are no parts of Somalia in Kenya or Ethiopia. Somalia is Somalia, Kenya is Kenya and Ethiopia is Ethiopia. If onyone in Somalia claims that some parts of other countries are part of Somalia by virtue of there being somali speaking people in those regions, then they should think again. There are other communities in these regions such as the Rendile, the Oromo and the Borana who are not Somalis. Would it be possible for a community that is non somali to exist in Somalia?

Hi guys specially those who are dreaming to establish a great somalia that will never exist.WE all Africans need peace and prosperity but we don't like to spend our time in a dream that is invisible.But u african friends u should feel shy when u call that ethiopia is very poor.infact she is poor with regard to material things but she is proud to show freedom to the people who were under colonialists and the country that gives moral building for africans to fight for thier freedom.she is the only african country which has its own alphabet and number.to those muslim ethiopia is the country where pilgrim starts :ofcourse a country where human civilization starts.u can make sure this by visiting the wonders os the axum oblisk and rock hewn churchs of lalibela where u can't find any where in the world.A country where the ark of covenant present ,a country u can find her in both kuran and bible.U guys remember u can find either ethiopia,rome,esrael or babilon in the bible or kuran not somalia or kenya which shows her long histroy and power.I want to remind u guys that we are proud of our country becouse u know that our country is established by its own poor people not the europian colonialis and u will see how ethiopia will be too strong in the next 20 years.

Let alone creating Greater Somalia, Somaliland will be recognized by AU, UN, and all African countries very soon. It is only Egypt and Italy that are currently against this noble idea. Egypt opposes this move not because of its concern for somalis, but it is because of its concern that an independent Somaliland may federate/confederate with Ethiopia on voluntary basis.
