Educate yourself about Islam before you offend it

my dear you have offended our dear prophet say what ever you want about us but don't dare come near our god or any of his messengers. This isn't about naive drawings but this is a matter of respect to others believe our religion is teaching us to respect others believe and their religions.

It is a Free World, every one should be allowed to express their point of view regarding an issue or regarding the impression they have of a historical figure, before muslims tell otheres to respect their relegion they should actually respect othere relegions, and othere cultures, instead of tearing down buildings, and STOP funding and supporting usama bin pig bin laden.

The drawing of the prophet Mohammad is a result of Muslims efforts in terrorising the world, it is actually written in the Holly Qura'n that the world should be ruled by Muslims, and any one who does not submit to Islam should burn in hell.

I've met alot of muslims here is America .. they really recpect us more than we do recpect them or mohammad . I heard that saudi arabia stopped trading with denmark few min ago ..

I think what denmark did to the prophet is something stupid and bad and they will taste the punishment in their life and when they died becouse they don't know who is mohammed. and by the way all the muslims stoped using and eating the denmark products and if they continue in the same thing till aug-2006 the losses of denmark will reach 39 billion dollar inshallah (i hope so) and then you will taste the losses.

As I have noticed lately, there has been a debate about some drawings from the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten (JP). It is a huge surprise for me to see all the reactions from Muslims in Denmark but even from Islamic countries represented by governments reacting about the illustrations.
I have seen the 12 illustrations and after I saw them, I was just thinking:“and so what”. I thought that it would be a one-day event from JP. And that was it. As far as I understand the Koran, you cannot in some way draw Mohammed.
Not to forget that some Danish Muslim Imans has told leis about Denmark in the Islamic countries. It is not that bad, as they have said. It is only 12 drawings.
The Danish Press is a free press; they can write what ever they would like to write about. No one can stop them, the Government have no rights to stop them; this is what the free press is all about. In Denmark newspapers have illustrators that are drawing illustrations about situations what happens in today’s world. Often you can see in Danish news papers illustration that portraits the prime Minster, or even the Queen in odd situations in character sketches. There is even a book illustrating character sketches of the Queen. The Queen even find the sketches very funny she have said once.
A few months ago a book writer would write a children’s book that illustrated the Koran in pictures. In my opinion a really good idea, and maybe it could be a book that could tell students in primary schools how is to be a Muslim. In that case the book writer would like someone to illustrate Mohammed. No one would help him draw Mohammed, since the Koran in some way tells that you are not allowed to draw him.
I fully understand JP why they are asking how this is the case and I support JP that they have drawn the drawings. Because Denmark got a free press, like many other European countries has. I have seen all the 12 drawings and must admit they are pretty harmless and funny. If there were no text underneath saying it was Mohammed no one would think about it. I do admit there were one or two drawings that were a bit provocative. But the rest were cute or very harmless. Again JP was asking how far could they go. Apparently not that far. I would be happy to attach the drawings, I have a feeling you have seen one or two of them.
What I do not understand is why Muslims get so offended by some naive drawings, and how some drawings from a Danish newspapers can make such a big debate in Muslims countries far away from the cold northern Europe. When we all know there many other problems in the world we all need to worry about.
I do hope you can answer me, since I hear that your country has asked people to boycut Danish product that has nothing to do with the illustrations. My suggestion could be that you could boycott the Danish news paper JP, but again you properly do not read that paper anyway.
Your government and 11 other Muslim countries has asked for an apology from the Danish Prime minister. But again what does the Danish Prime minister have to do with JP and their drawings? The answer is nothing!
Again it is just some drawings from the cold north nothing else. Its humour I would say. Danes are known for having a sarcastic humour that some foreign people can misunderstand.
It is sad to hear that some of the illustrations can make people so offended, but what if it was an artist that have made film about Muslims like the film “life of Brian”? What would happen then? A few years ago a man in Denmark made a film about Jesus and his s e x life, in the film Jesus had group s e x with 3 girls. People had a laugh and that was it. The drawings might be a little bid over the top but is it really worth complaining about, and to boycott Danish products. These drawings are old news lets move forward instead.
Lets be friends, make fun of us instead, humour is the best way to get know each other. Lets play some football; it is always a good way to get to know each other.

Freedom of Speech doesn’t entitle to cry ‘fire’ in a crowd nor does it entitle to slander nor degrade other. Let alone if the slander touch the dearest to our harts and believes. This is not freedom of opinion issue, as your queen maintains. This is blunt attempt from group of low life people using ‘the terrorist wagon‘ to disgrace Muslim and Arab . All Arab and Muslim countries should withdraw their ambassadors from Denmark, and boycott any products of theirs immediately to make countries be responsible for their low life people.

I've heard that Mohammed killed shit loads of people who didn't wanted to become muslims, That is proberly something muslims has forgotten. Christianity was proberly alsso bad but the relegion has moved on.

It is always easier to change ones own thoughts, than someone elses. If someone feels offended in ones beliefs, it gives a wonderful opportunity to raise above it all; and "ASK-THIS" WHY do I feel that way. And if it anger I feel, perhaps I am not that certain in my beliefs. So if a bloody newspaper can throw your emotions, would you not agree, one should re-think it a bit

First denmark doesn't have euroes we have kroner as currency.
but I have no idea what a boycut helps, what it is it you expect from us, To stop journalism? it is only a news Paper that asked a question by asking 12 illustrators how they see who this mohammed guy is. It could have been an artist that had made a picture of mohammed or a film, would you then agian boycut denmark. we are talking about one News Paper. that published this wayback last year, and funny enough you first reacting now which is a bit slow I would say.
So my qustion is what does a foodcompany and other companies from denmark got to do with one single newpaper out about 6 national newspapers from denmark. I would say nothing.
there are loads of Muslims in denmark who doesn't care of the drawings.
The next thing is this is not about racism. Do not compare this with holocost, because it is not. It is only about one News paper from Denmark that asked question. Therefore guys this have not anything to do with other companies from denmark or to do with our Goverment.

then I am asking, in what way do you expect and why do you expect The Danish Geverment to appologize for something they are not responsble. Danish and european News paper are critical to their goverments opposide yours that loves everything what the goverment does.

an iinteresting thing is that load of Danish internet news pages has asked thier viewers if the goverment should appologize the drawings the answer was yes 15% and no 85%

yes we do respect people that follows their religion, but agian what is it you expect. my advice is to take that news paper to court thats is how it works in europe if you fell offended take them to court.

Danes have been insulting Prophet Muhammad for a long time now.

1. First time they did it was in a sex magazine.
Here they said that Muhammad has a harem (because of the many wifes)

2. Second time they made a picture of Prophet Muhammad (saws) as a women with the text; who can be sure that he is not a woman, Estafirullah

3. Third time is what we are witnessing now.

denmark and danes will continue their hate propaganda, until muslims answer back.

The real problem is that danes hates muslims. Denmark has several times been discribed as the most rasict country in Europe.

A recent danish parlament member (Louise Frevert) just said that muslims are like cancer cells and can only be removed my killing.
