Of course who will support the country of Lions and Tigers, only the Eritreans who believe in self reliance support their nation.
May God Bless Eritrea and Eritreans!! |

I feel uncomfortable when i read the self reliance word from Eritrean people and the Eritrean government. Because the government recieves milions of dollars for agricultural, health and infrustructure developments from a number of aid donner organizations in the developed countries. The government pretends that Eritrea is unlike other African countries does not wait for aids. In realities the government only stopped the food aid program, choosing to be given all aids in cash ( work for food ) program, misleads us the Eritrean people as if the whole world is agains us, no one help us in building our nation and so on. AS the result most of as belive we doing it in our own when this is not the case. I was told by my friend the other day about the money aid with some evidence of this and i was very disappointed on why i was mislead, by TV ERI and by other government sources. Despit all of the misleading like many Eritreans I still support the government lead by Isayas as he might have a reason for choosing the money aid programmes in the hope that the policy will be beneficial for the Eritrean people in the long term. I strongly believe that if there are people who deserves better living standards it will defenitly be the Eritrean people. The Eritrean people are the most peaceful people in the world, i am not saying this because am an Eritrean but only because it is the truth.
may God bless the fallen heroes and awet nhafash. |

Sara, I concur with some of your arguments. However, I was finally disappointed to find out that you still Support the government. Come-on Eritreans what is wrong with us? Why can't we see the evil nature of the dictator? I love my country and I love the people and it only at the end of the 2007 that I left the country because of the dictator. Why are we so blind to see the gross violations of human rights? Why can't we ask ourselves why are millions of youths living the country?
Let us regain our proud people and beautiful country. Let us act now before it is too late. Sara and likeminded people unless we act today, we will certainly loose our beautiful country. I can't tell how frustrated I get when I meet people who still maintain that Iseyas is thinking for his people. For clarity purposes, I am not trying to say Ethiopia or the international community is doing justice to Eritrean people. All I am saying is people at home are suffering at the hands of Iseyas and let us save them and the country as well. If you don't know the magnitude of the suffering the people at home, ask ur relatives in a neutral way. We will certainly regret our silence now. Should u doubt my warning you can write to biniamalula@gmail.com I am ready to testify and try to change people's views in an effort to save our beloved country. |

Hi Biniam, kemey dhando? i understand people at home are suffering from hunger caused by the policy our government is following. AS for the youth leaving the country, they are right because no one in the world would stay for a week working for un paid labour. Most Eritreans understand tha the president is quick to blame any one who does not agree with him but getting ride of Isayas might cause a blood shed with in the country, i think we better support him until the right time for dimocracy arrives in Eritrea, for the sake of the mass.The other thing we must remember is that President Isayas has done a remarkable work for Eritrea alongside many Eritrean heroes ( Tegadelti)to bring freedom in the country, and this time he might be able to pull away from the food shortage crisis, but will require people's support. Otherwise the 30 years strugle whcich almost all Eritreans contributed might loose its meaning and strenght of national unity, if we do not suppor each ohter and of the government for that matter.

Selam Sara Egziabiher yimesgen I am doing great except to mention that I am really worried about our lovely country and people. I hope that you are also doing fine. Thanks Sara for your thoughtful comments. I understand your line of argument and to some extent I agree with you. One thing though that I have a problem of accepting is our presidents current stand. His current standing forced many of us to question his contribution. Was he realy a genuine fighter? Believe me I was among one of the craziest fans of him. Even when I was doing my study at a university level, I had his photo on all of my reading materials. I just loved him like no other person. The war with Ethiopia showed another side of him. If he has the desire to lockup thousands in prisons (including people who fought with him for decades), I just can't understand how he really is changed. I think of two things; either he is insane now or he was not an honest fighter. I understand that trying to get rid of him at once will leave power vacuum and ultimately putting the country in danger. It is for this reason that many people are advocating for transnational justice approach like that of South Africa where reconciliation commission has to be set up to sort out the crises. However, the success of this approach is dependent upon the willingness of the Iseyas. The question remains whether he will agree? Why do u think Sara about this? Do u think Iseyas will agree on this? Personally I don’t think so and it for this reason I am crying for unity among all of us specially those of us living outside the country. Let us stop sponsoring a dictator who is killing our loved ones. Let us say in one voice Iseyas is going in the wrong direction. After all he is a human being. Sara, I assure you we have so many genius people who can lead the country. We have a number of scholars and there is nothing to worry about our future if we can stand together. Let us not fail our innocent people!! Let us do everything to make the person next to us aware the true nature of Iseyas as he stands now. Let us join our hands. |
||||
Hi Biniam, thanks for responding to my comments.I agree with most of Your views in regards to the Eritrean governments administration in general and the imprisnments of nationals in particular. I am in a rush today with some work, and i hope to join in the discussion in the near future Regards Zelaalemawi Zkri n Swaatna, and awet n hafash. |

Once again thank u for being willing to engage in this badly needed discussion. My short answer for 'who is financing Eritrea is?' Eritreans living in Diaspora. Of course we have obligation to help our families and loved ones. However, sponsoring a dictator who is indiscriminately arresting and killing innocent people is just insane. Our country needs us now more than anytime. Let us get together today. Let us talk to people who are still blind to see what the real situation in Eritrea is. We can't just sit back and hope that this problem goes away. We need to extend our assistance in every way possible. At the very least, we should deter ourselves from campaigning for the dictator. By disconnecting the country from the rest of the world, he has embarrassed us all and not opposing to such kind of person simply puts our intelligence into question.

Tegadalay I respect your view. You can have your view as to what type of person I am but this does not change the situation in Eritrea today. If you are really a sane person who knows what is happening in Eritrea today, I am 100% sure, you wouldn't have supported killings and detention of ur own people. I have never said I supported Woyane or Ethiopia and I tried to tell every one that I left the country at the end of 2007. I am fully aware of what is happening in Eritrea and that is the reason I left the country. I proudly served my country and no one is going to change that. If my age and contribution can also help you to understand who I am, I am 28 years old one of the university students who stopped class to join the army when the war worsened with Woyane. We refused to go to class and forced the university administration to let us go join our brothers and sisters in fronts. Now we are branded Kedaeti by people living far away from the country like you. If you are happy with Iseyas why do choose sidet? Why are sitting in someone else’s land? Why don’t go back to ur country and see for ur self whether people have bread to eat? There is no doubt that Iseyas has established himself as the worst dictator in the world today but the main problem facing the country is people of your thinking - who still think that everything is fine. Do you honestly believe Eritrean people are fine at this point in time? Any person who has an affirmative response for this answer can be either a) an insane or ignorant person who does not anything b) a person who does not know what is happening in Eritrea today c) An opportunist who is making use of PFDJ’s temporary privileges You also suggested if I have any relation with those people you consider ‘Kedaeti’. If you know the ABCs of justice system, you would not have been happy to see anyone to languish in prison whether he is Kedae or not. By your standard if everyone in prison is Kedae, Eritrea is a land of kedaeti because thousands of Eritreans are in prison today. It does not seem to be appropriate to waste our time arguing whether Eritrea has good governance or not. Rather our energy and time should be devoted to how we can save the country from the problem it finds itself in. When the country disintegrates tomorrow like Somalia, it will be too late for us to regret our silence today. Tegadalay it seems to me that you mind is still stuck in 1997 if you are really an Eritrean who thinks about the good of the country I will ask you to do this; 1. ask your relatives at home if the country is doing fine? 2. go out of the self imposed box u are in |

hello biniam kemey, tegadalay aikonen, merfie hidgef zitewege kurkur eyu. he is a fake tegadalay, all jeganu eritreans are loyal to their people and land. this people loyalty is to daddy isaias, they don't care about the sufferig, killing of our beautifull people as long as their fake king stays in power. they can't defend isaias tigraway records so they resort to insults, name calling etc. LEAVE THE FAKE TEGADALAY, HE IS TSEMAM, EBUD KELBI, who will dance and defend tigraway isaias instead of our brave people. isaias was insane all his life we just didn't know about it, now that we know tigraway hates us we have to do something soon. otherwise we will wake up one day and ABRAHAM AFEWERKI WILL BE presidet, imagine that our people died for isaias tigraway glory. we have to kill this tigraway and hung him upside down like the other facist leader from italy. he has no problem killig, jailing, chasing eritreans so why should we spare him or his supporters. we have to hunt them down one by one just like the old times. we have to call spade a spade and fight fire with fire. isaias/satan is anti eritreans, he resent his tigray herritage and that he doesn't belong to eritreans. eritreans i know are kind, hardworking, smart, brave, honest, democratic (since old times). isaias stands for anything eritrean, thus we have to remove him by force. we eritreans REJECT COMMUNIST DICTATOR, the land is the land of ABOTATNA thus we have to have a say in the policies that affect our people daily. we can't be second class citizens in our land, worse the owner is tigraway and his tegaru family (yemane monkey, hagos kisha, etc) |
||||
|
isaias stands against anything eritrean. sorry
|
||||
anta tsemam ebud kelbi, why are you living tx? go back to eritrea if you support satan/isaias. stop speaking for hizbi eritrea dirbay tegadalay. hangol aleka diu, why don't you take shilho isaias out of your mouth. support our people, F*c* tigraway isaias wedi medhine berad |
