I was with a medical mission for six days in July, 2008, in Sud Kivu, DR Congo. At that time there was peace and the people were doing what they could to earn a living and to progress. I went, afraid of soldiers, because they had been in the news for atrocities. All the soldiers we saw appeared to just be trying to do their job. One brought his wife to the clinic for health care and seemed to be genuinely concerned for her. I am sure that some of them were guilty of atrocities but yet we were dependent on them for protection from possible rebel attacks. I was grateful because we had no trouble.
While there I met a senator, the minister of health, the minster of transportation, and several generals. They were working hard to keep peace. God is blessing the Congo with new, good leadership. Not every war crime can be punished, even though that would be ideal. They will have to move forward as best they can, maybe even with Kabila at the head of the government. The trouble at this time is caused by Nkunda and he should be stopped. We don't live in an ideal world. |

Yaya,
you know what, is ok killing millions of people for some obscures reasons but you got to know that one , i'm sayin' one you guys gonna pay. You remember the late president of DRC Mobutu, he thought he will be in power forever, well where is he today, the western can support you, but you have to know that one they will be tired of you the way they were tired of Mobutu. We can lose hope for that country, i know things will be just fine one, and by then you guys should be ready for whatever will happen to you. My advice to you will be, never follow politicians, because they are doing this for themselves not for the rwandan's populations. If not today but tomorrow things are goin' to change. |

jabila was not elected, he is a liar.
If he seeks peace and prosperity, why his adiminstration relies heavely on military Congo is the most poorest in the world? He done nothing except stilling and congo wealth. He is a terrorist. You congolese must be thankful, that God has sent to you a savior and you must welcome him, cooperated so that congo can advance. Gen. Nkunda is a right president for Congo. Either you want him or not he is your future president. Bas congo, DRC. |
