Russian oil slows to Czechs after accord with US

I really don't understand why the Russians are so much against this. First of all, these missiles do not threaten Russia nor hurt it's deterrent. And even if these missiles WERE aimed at Russian missiles (which they are NOT), Russia has thousands of missiles that could easily overwhelm this small force of ABM's (which are of doubtful accuracy anyway).

So why are they so much against this small battery of ABM's ?!

They are trying to save American taxpayer billion by being against a system that would bring no security to Americans.
If Europe wants to build them for their defence then let them.

Why should the US always get involved in other peoples problems and spend taxpayers money. We forced them to take missiles from Cuba and now they don't like US missiles in their neighborhood. Halliberton would build them and make Chanes friend huge profits on no bid contracts

The Russians are still upset at having lost their control over Central Europe and will continue to threaten and intimidate the Czechs until such time as the last Communist in Russia croaks. that is why they are doing this--they threatened to nuke the Czechs but have changed their tune and are using oil as a weapon. How pathetic they are!!!

Putin is a control freak. I live to see the day that Communism is dead but I am afraid that will not take place until the Muslims succeed in the quest to rule.

They did to the Byzantine Empire and have never gotten over the fact that they were dismantled at the end of World War 1. Why do you think they have fanned out all over the World and do not assimilate but try to change the laws of the land? They intend to out populate each country they are in with their 8 to 10 wives and 30 to 40 children each.

You may be right about the Muslims wanting to conquer and not assimilate.

Probably for the same reason the USA got upset when the Russians tried to put missiles in Cuba.

First of all, the missiles were aimed at the United States. Our ABM's that are going in2 the Czech Republic are NOT aimed at Russia.

Secondly, I think Kennedy and hs advisers made a huge mistake about the missiles in Cuba and blew the whole thing out of proportion, and nearly started a nuclear war with the Soviet Union over it. See the docudrama "The Missiles Of October" with William Devane and Martin Sheen.

I don't know about oil, but those Czech babes are super hot. No wonder the Russians held on to them as long as they did.
