Democracy is really quite simple. People vote on an issue and if the answer given is NO, then that answer means NON. There are no re-runs, the treaty is dead and now just needs to be buried.

it is only switzerland that has real democracy, direct democracy

the people vote on the important issues nationwide & the results imo are final

no supreme court can say in the nerdy tone of a 1940's tel. operator 'the results were unconstitutional'

direct democracy puts the people first & damn the constitution

or otherwise put constits should be put up for yes or no vote frequently

who rules? the living or the dead

Exactly.

The arguement used by the Elites of Europe is that the people are too stupid and poorly educated to understand a new constitution therefore they are not entitled to a direct vote.

They further tried to prove their point by re-writing the Lisbon constitution in such language that indeed very few people could understand it. Even the elected represntatives of the people who were deemed fit to have the final say on behalf of their people ...couldn't understand it.

And so who is at fault ... the wishful willies who dreamt up the new constitution ... or the still living people?

The people are alive and deserve priority.

The European Elites have proven they are brain and heart dead, and so should be gently eased into their retirement homes.

The Constitution is totally dead and should now be buried.

And Peskies cash streams should circulate for the benefit of all Europeans as they had done previously.
