Failing that you could always educate yourself and read the real life experiences of a True Cypriot http://www.thegreenline.co.uk

I visted the Big Apple in 1993 and 1995, The shopping and food were great, but the place was far too busy for me, Hence I enjoy where I live now, sea view from the balcony, harvesting my own Olives and Lemons, just Chillin and enjoying life, If I want the Hustle and Bustle of a busy City, Nicosia is 30 minutes away.

They didn't stand a chance! The Turks were hovering like buzzards.. As soon as the Britts stepped aside, turkey attacked like wild dogs..
I honestly believe had the greater powers allowed them, Turkey would have wiped out every Greek in Cyprus!
Try and look at things from our perspective........ Just once...
Evidently you dont follow all My postings mate, I agree with all the above, Especially the part about had they not been stopped(At least then There wouldnt be a "Cyprus Problem").
Throughout History stronger nations have capitalized on weaker nations,The initial Intervention saved the TC's though, the UN's hands were tied and couldnt prevent the continuing intercommunal fighting so they took advantage of the situation!.

38 Years on mate , Ankara have been pumping money into the North, they have their Army camps here, Do you honestly beleive that they'd retreat and hand it all back?.

Colonisation; The model that I use is when (for example), Britain Colonised Australia, It was an Ideal Opportunity to get rid of their undesirables(NOT INTENDED AS A POP AT YOU MATE!), so they cleared their Prisons and Mental Institutions, with the promise of freedom and Land.Thats not to say that there aren't many Decent Educated, westernised Mainlanders here, there are, but sadly they are in the minority.
A friend from Istanbul once said to me that He'd hate for me to base My opinion of all Turks, on those from Hatay etc.
Have a Good day mate (And bring a Holden VXR over for me!).

Americans recognized genocide of Indians and apologises, pays reparations to Native Americans.Turkey denies Armenian massacres.Denies all other Genocides-Kurdish,Pontic Greek and more

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Capricorn

Your feelings are running high under this Lunar Eclipse and it won't take much to make you feel as though you've reached a crisis. This is especially likely if you've been worrying about something, and you now realize that you can't continue to brush it under the carpet for much longer. Those secretly working against you may show their true colors. It's a relief to know that you have take action, but it also feels scary and you may not even know where to begin. Don't be afraid to ask someone you trust and respect for their help.
