Kissinger says in his telegram two months before the Coup: "You will proceed to the final cure of the Archbishop Makarios". You DO know what "final cure" means in diplomatic language?

Greece obtained its Freedom in 74. Turkey is only starting to taste real freedom now, it still has s long way to go. You clearly feel you are Turkish or Turkish Cypriot. The Republic of Cyprus allows you to be whoever you want to be and feel however you want to feel. The occupied part of Cyprus or your 'TRNC' oppreses its occupants especially those who have the most rights to live there.

Analyst where ever there is a military rule, they do represent the country and the people of that country, If junta was successful uniting Cyprus with Greece , today you be praising the junta and what magnificent military force you have. looking for scapegoat is not being honest. besides enosis was the brainchild of the Greek Cypriots likes of Makarios and eoka scum coupled with Greek Cypriots, it was the Greek Cypriots who was doing business with the Junta. I am a Turkish Cypriot and in TRNC there is nothing and no one stopping me from practicing what ever religion I chose to believe, how I feel depends on the mood I am in and no one interferes with my feelings.

You can still be greek and want piece.Just because you are from cyprus does not mean that you are not greek. It is your right to be greek and also you right to respect the turkish cypriots. If you are a cypriot of mixed greek and turkish blood then I understand why you want to be just a cypriot. news wrote: <quoted text> spoken like a true Cypriot and a smart human being. the glue used to unite Greece doesn't necessarely unite the Cypriots. the flag, the national enthem, celebrating ones own holidays, ones own heroes, ones own history are the ingredients that can cement down the people of Cyprus. True Cypriots don't get to pick and choose the ethnic background of Cypriots, their religion or traditions. You love Cyprus melting pot, its own formula or not. You don't get to be Greek one day and call yourself a Cypriot the next day, for political reasons only. You don't get to ignore Cyprus history and be in love with Greece's. Greece and Cyprus are not identical twins (even they are different)but two independent countries with their own history, traditions, make up and governments. The Cypriots who want Greece as their country are the ones responsible for Cyprus division, the mess in Cyprus and the dissatisfaction of the TCs who feel betrayed by their own. People in the north talk about their country being Cyprus while people in the south have incorporated Greece in their everyday lives. They talk of better life and the future of Cyprus while the south is all about hate and properties. It will be nice to hear people wanting unity for the right reasons and who are willing to sacrifice their interests for Cyprus interests. During the Egyptian uprise, many Egyptian Americans, used their vacation time to atten the protests in Egypt. How many Cypriots are willing to sacrifice for Cyprus? Never answered my post and no-one ever answered yours When did I ever critisise the US presidents? questions don't make it to your brain do they

news wrote: <quoted text> Open you eyes and only read what she wrote and not what you assume she wrote. Is whe wrong to say that Cyprus is not Greece? Is she wrong to say that these two countries are different? Is she wrong to want her own country's symbol, instead of Greece? Is she wrong to say she feels like a Cypriot and not like a Greek? Is she wrong to say that Cypriots are a mixture of past invaders and past Cypriots? Where did she say that speaking Greek makes her Greek therefore, her affluent English makes her Enlgish? Keep your gay obsession and ignorant assumptions for yourself and unless you can respond with the same level of intelligence to her, be quiet. The other monkeys have already taken their bananas and are swinging happily on the trees. Try to do the same. Most of the world uses written language to communicate while most of you use it to create another secret language of your own. What language do you use? Most of can't understand you? Klingon?
