Nobody wants Cyprus to unite with Greece. Not even Greek Cypriots (especially today that Greece has such an economic problem). The British bases are there because there is the biggest spy centre in the world at Ay Nic, Akrotiri and Olympos mountain. No matter how much we want them to go, they will not leave because of that. Maybe they will leave from Dhekelia, but they will not leave from the places I have mentioned before

Before WW1 the British governed Cyprus, Cyprus was then Annexed,The British ask for Greece to assist the allied forces on assault on Turkey in 1918, In return The British said they would have given them full rights over Cyprus. Greece did not what to know stating that the Turks are to strong to defeat, you guessed it , the Coward Greece is No. you will never even ever have Cyprus.TRNC FOR EVER, Where Turks can live in peace, protected, and without your Greek bullshit.
