Aually it has benefited many of the self serving "or" corrupt ,useless Miami-dade Cuban politicians.

As their motto is "Look at Cuba and the Castro's instead of me".

It has also lined the pockets of some if not many involved in right wing , republican ,anti-Castro TAX PAYER FUNDED activities, groups.

"Cashmere sweaters and Godiva chocolates apparently passed the muster for USAID auditors. Roughly 83% of the funds are spent in Miami or abroad instead of using the funds granted under the Helms-Burton Act to promote democracy and create solidarity with human rights activists on the island."

"A report by the Cuban-American National Foundation released in May showed that less than 17 percent of $65 million in federal Cuba aid funds spent during the past 10 years went to ''direct, on-island assistance.'' The bulk of the money, the report said, went to academic studies and expenses of exile organizations, mostly in Miami and Washington. "

"Elena Diaz, a Cuban-American whose parents immigrated to Miami when she was a baby says,'This is the way it was in Cuba before Fidel Castro. I heard my parents talk about it that country was so corrupt. Corruption's what actually destroyed it and now they're doing the same thing here.'"

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
