Liger burro, you want democracy for Cuba. You want individuals to pursue their dreams.
Burro, Cubans don't have the capacity tro think for themselves. They need a leader like Fidel, Hitler, or Stalin to do the thinking for you burros! Raul is doing what his brother did best, he is doing just fine Burro! As to the political prisoners, just keep them in storage so that they can serve their fatherland as organ donors for those in power, Burro! HA! HA! HA!

My cousi's journey into this country was so interesting. we had a family get together two weeks ago to welcome him and to meet him. it was amazing to hear about an 11 hour journey from Havana, thru the countryside..hitchiking. to get on a bullet boat with 40 Cubans..go acros the sea. exchange boats.and enter Key Biscayne to a private home..on to freedom. he is in amazement, grateful, nostalgic,i n awe. just to see the fresh meat section here is amazing

If I did not write before, Gitmo was divided into two sides. Mainside and Leeward Point. Leeward Point as I remember was where the airstrip and Marines were stationed. The Jamaicans also live there I think. In between we had water. It was called the back bay. For a nominal charge, we could rent a small boat or something called a barrel boat. A barrel boat was a small pontoon boat with a hard roof in which you can tan yourself on. The back bay had a few small kays. Or keys. These were very small islands if I did not say write it correctly. One of these very small islands was called Hospital kay. Again I do not remember if the kay rant is the correct reference. This small island or islet was a leper colony in its past. At the front of the islet, there was a number of rusted iron globes several feet in diameter attached to each other forming a three dimensional trapezoid approximately thirty feet in length and width, and fifteen feet in height. This was a warning to all ships coming close to stay away in the past. When this was in existence I do not know or remember. What I do remember was that I was not a good fisherman and when I rented a boat it was most usually to bring some beer and ride the back bay. I and others were on that islet many times. There were warning signs if you took your boat to far in the back bay as you were close to entering official Cuban waters. Being Navy, or military we turned around if we got to close to the "border". It probably was not the true border or was a demarcation zone. All I know is at night, if you went to far, spotlights from the Cuban side would find your boat. And that was the best warning. Starfish were plentiful there and abundant fish was available seafarers. A lot of history in those waters.

This will be my final rant: Gitmo is hilly and has a major road with off streets. Eventually you would end up at the main road somehow. Cars at the base were called Gitmo Specials. They were older. Sailors would sell those cars to others as they left. There were stores and even a beach that was made safe for residents with a net because of a threat from sea life like portugease man of war. The fact is, Gitmo was an American base on a Communist island. During my tour of duty there, a marine fell asleep at his post at the fence and was found tied up the next morning. That made news there. That was also reality. I hope that guy is living well today. I know that our military can be nasty when you mess up.As it should be. I just do not know if a whole life should be destroyed for a dumb mistake. To all of you, may Cuba and America be friends again. And may all be wealthy.

Gitmo appears on Google maps - it is quite clear. You can see individual vehicles on the satellite images. The fence around the perimeter is clear. The 2 airstips at the entrance to the harbor are clear - the one on the west side has a no. 28 painted on the runway. In fact, all of Cuba is quite clear.

Brothers & sisters! Once again we begin our countdown till October 10. The day we celebrate
Cuba's declaration of Independence as well as the day we celebrate "The Political Death of the Tyrant".
We all know fidel is gone! Dead or connected to a machine to keep his vitals going...he is gone.
That last edited video showed a cagalistroso that was severely demented. That was a highly edited video, from GOD knows when, and it was the best that they could offer.
We persisted so hard that the rumor spread and took hold.....many even celebrated.....a grassroots celebration born on-line, conceived by
some Cubans that got together & made friends while discussing topics and picking on the rats.
Remember how upset the rats were over the celebration? Hey guys it's not over! Let us start the countdown to our celebration & let it grow every year! Let it grow until it is bigger than the 4th of July and we all gather & celebrate In a free Cuba some day!
The C O U N T D O W N starts NOW!
Countdown to Celebration: 91 days to Oct 10
