Latin American governments condemn Colombian attacks, defend territorial sovereignty

Latin American governments and regional organizations declared support for Ecuadorian national sovereignty and regional unity, and widely condemned the assault by Colombian armed forces on the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Ecuadorian territory early Saturday morning, which resulted in the deaths of 16 insurgents, among them Raúl Reyes, a top level FARC leader and diplomat Raúl Reyes.

Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa made a televised appeal Sunday for international solidarity with Ecuador in the wake of Colombia`s "planned aerial attack" and subsequent "unacceptable aggression" perpetrated by 60 Colombian ground troops "with full conscience that they were violating our sovereignty."

I condemn Colomnbian's attack in Ecuador's territory and reminds me of the attack in Israel when I was at the synagogue in Brookline, and asked GOD, what do they have to do? But in the trance between Heavens and Earth, I missed that GOD had already answered, when I sat in the synagogue, "It is time to fight" Angels had asked me to ask GOD in prayer what they needed to do? And answer was given from the GOD of Israel through me before the request and the question was asked. I am an Ecuadorian mother of two in Boston and I don't compare Ecuador with Israel to not make GOD jealous, but I want to say that Ecuador must not fight unless extremely necessary. I have prayed that all Colombians leave Ecuador and Dominicans who are not there with the intention to have a good life, but to use and abuse us, must leave too. The rest of my family, all considered, the "House of Hashem" live in Guayaquil. You can contact them and ask to pray and intercede for the country. One of them is, Marcos E. Estrada, Attorney.

Maria,

Do you condemn the FARC for killing and kidnapping people? Do you condemn the Ecuadorean government for harboring killers and kidnappers? Do you condemn the Venezuelan government for trafficking drugs for FARC and ELN? There is a much bigger picture here than just the Colombian military invading Ecuador to kill an evil man.

Please note that Colombia limited their attacks in Ecuador to the FARC rebel base. There was not a broader scale effort to take over Ecuador. This was a quick strike, in and out, against a specific target. By all accounts, it was as successful a mission as could be hoped for.

Thank goodness evidence was recovered that will finally bring to light the link between FARC and the governments of Ecuador and Venezuela.

May Chavez and Correa rought in hell!!!

No me sorprende.

So why didn't Ecuador do something about the FARC terrorists?
This is no different from a neighbor who allows rats to breed in his trash cans. The rats will soon infest the entire neighborhood unless someone does something about it.

I am praying too. I pray that God sheds light on the darkness that is Correa and his boss Chavez. Many Ecuadorians understand that something is wrong when Correa has no problem with FARC terrorists setting up camps in Ecuador and is furious that Colombia entered and killed them.

People get killed or kidnapped by gangs and leftists groups on the streets of Venezuela and Colombia every day. So why does Chavez get especially fired up when members of the FARC get killed?
It's times like this that reveal a man's true character.

VenezuelanAnazlysis, the source of this article is the propaganda equivalent of Cuba's Prensa Latina. No major leaders have outright condemned Colombia, for the most part they have asked for peace on both sides. This while Correa runs around asking leaders to make Colombia shut up about Correa's relationship with FARC. It ain't going to happen. They might not agree with Uribe going in to Ecuador territory, but they disagree with FARC even more.As Peru's Alan Garcia basically stated.

Lacayo venda patria? Ya veo que nada ha cambiado por aqui por Topix. El unico lacayo vende patria es al apatrida de Chavez que le ha regalado Venezuela a los cubanos, chinos e iranies. Y ahora nada menos que a la guerrilla. Que asco de presidente

A computer was found in the elaborate compound on the Ecuadorian border of Colombia, of the killers, extortionist, kidnapping, drug trafficking terrorists called FARC.

The computer belonged to a leader Reyes who was killed by the Colombian army. The computer had many communications and documents verifying the fact that Chavez had sent FARC over $300k on at least one occasion and a seperate incident documents revealed the fact the FARC funded Correa's electorate campaign. Which is something he was accused of during the campaign.

Most Latin American countries tried to make the peace, but generally expressed more concern about FARC than what Colombia did. Most of my Ecuadorian friends and family are horribly embarrassed that Correa would want to wage war on Colombia, a brother country, because of his obvious nefarious ties.

VenezuelaAnalysis.com is PURE propaganda. You will not find their twisted opinions in any other mainstream media source.

Defined:

BUSH!T... NeoCon 'warmonger LIER'... Destroyed the US economy and world peace in 8 years with his TERROR and WAR.

Chavez... Socialist 'loudmouth'... centerpiece for a 'peacefull citizen revolution' in Venezuela so those who have been ROBED or neglected for years can live with DIGNITY.

Bush can be construed as a liar that has destroyed the US economy by pursuing an unorganized war under false pretenses, sure.

That has nothing to do with the fact that Chavez is basically a similar animal, if not the same. There is no dignity in how he has conducted politics in Venezuela, there is no peace in a country that lives under the grip of crime and government loyalists, where individual liberties have been slowly destroyed and where a president aligns himself with a terrorist organization like the FARC. Not to mention that Chavez is as much a bad administrator and warmonger as Bush.

You need to get out of that idealist version of revolution that has been sold to you.
