I've been following this interesting story which provides a unique glance into the type of society that the Chinese Communist Party has created in China. The pervasive and universally acknowledged corruption of the entire CCP structure has become merely a fact of life, and state-sanctioned theft is seen as the fastest and most certain path to success. Can you imagine an America where little children in all their innocent objectivity dream of becoming say, Bernie Madoff? China schoolgirl aspires to be 'corrupt official':state media (AFP)– Sep 4, 2009 BEIJING — A six-year-old girl has become a media darling in China on her first day of school by expressing her aspiration to become a "corrupt official" when she grows up, state media said Friday. The young student stated her aspirations in a televised interview that was posted on a southern China website, leading bloggers to describe her comments as "a reflection of social reality," the Southern Metropolis Daily reported. "When I grow up I want to be an official," said the girl, whose face was blurred to protect her identity. "What kind of official?" the interviewer asked. "A corrupt official because corrupt officials have a lot of things," she replied. Numerous other children appearing in the video were asked the same question, with many saying they wanted to become teachers, while others said they were not sure what they wanted to be when they grew up. Many chatroom users praised the child for her "realistic" outlook on life, while others expressed cynicism over rampant corruption in China. "Socialism has issued a new version of 'The Emperor's New Clothes'," said one posting. "The ugliness of life has already tainted the children -- how are we ever going to educate the next generation?" another posting said. Chinese President Hu Jintao has repeatedly warned that corruption is one of the greatest threats to the legitimacy of Communist Party rule.

The dream of every child in CCP China..... is the same as that of every CCP member;.... to be the exploiter of the Chinese people. Poor China.

I love the Chinese people, their magnificent history, wonderful culture, and the beautiful country itself. It is the Chinese Communist Party that fabricates propaganda "against" the Chinese people. Like, for example the "CCP Harmony" that is obviously nothing but, and is in fact thinly veiled hatred, encouraged by the CCP to further its imperial goals.

This is probably the most interesting and revealing story in CCP China this week. But it is censored there, and the CCP lackeys here earning their nickels in their propaganda mission, have obviously been ordered to bury it. Why? Because it shows the truth about the Chinese Communist Party regime and the society it has created. And that regime is far too weak and compromised to ever face the truth. Poor China.

And if the Chinese people doesn't care why should you who's not a Chinese?, or are you on a business of inciting Chinese people against their political system?.

China is a great country, too bad the CCP has corrupted so much of society, the only way they can survive is to clean up corruption or hide it even more.

This is not a CCP China forum. Are YOU in the business of hiding the truth from people posting in a free and open forum not based in CCP China?

Nice answer, well what we have all come to expect! It attacks the writer, not the point. It's like there was a problem with free speech or something. The pot is calling the kettle black?

It would however be misplaced to be laying charges of interference on an otherwise partial poster who is simply describing, on a free discussion board, the way success story is measured in the country. It does err on the side of using more flamboyant languages though, which no doubt explains the protective instincts on display. At least it is consolation that the Chinese themselves are not in denial.

Chinese President Hu Jintao is probably the most corrupt Chinese, but he controls the media, so all his evil doings are never made public. Actually, most Chinese on the street are corrupt eg. tax avoiding, buying and selling fake products, etc...

The pot is calling the kettle black? No, your post here that illustrates how you utterly failed to detect both the irony in the form of expression, and the point being made, is much nicer! Well Done! Your post illustrates the notion of "CCP makes you stupid" so well! Ha Ha!
