Why is China Navy in the INDIAN Ocean?

China is increasing its military presence in the Indian ocean. But the Indian Ocean does not even come close to China so why is China making military noises here? China faces the Pacific ocean, not Indian ocean. The Americans, Russians, Europeans and Japanese don't have a presence in the Indian Ocean, why China? This is very dangerous politics and moves by China.

China has a number of friendly nations in the Indian Ocean rim, such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Burma, East African nations etc. Further, Chinese oil tankers pass through the ocean. So what is the big deal?

China can only bully smaller countries but even that is too big for Chinamen to take a bite since Great Britain can send troops several thousand miles away into the heart of the Chinkdom and killed many chinamen while Chinamen could not even kill one British soldier! hahaha.. Chinamen power!

The two Opium Wars show the chinamen military prowess. Chinamen sent troops wearing Kung Fu clothes to fight British imperial troops and Chinamen died like crazy!! LOL It must have been fun shooting up the Kung Fu soldiers of China!:)))

I was talking about a NAVY, not oil tankers. The US also has many friendly countries in the area like Pakistan, Arabia, India, Kenya for example but the US i s not patrolling the Indian Ocean with a navy. Same with Russia, Japan, EU.

China does not understand world politics and is intruding in other peoples territories because this is what it has been doing for thousands of years. It is showing itself as a very dangerous source of future conflict, which is just part China's national character.

Just travel between mainland China and Taiwan and you'll see why there are over 2,000,000 Taiwanese now living on the mainland. The cities in Taiwan are pretty run-down and many look like mainland's third-tier cities in the 1990s.
