Bad link. You've screwed up yet again. It's pretty much inevitable for a loser like you to fail. But it's VERY entertaining!

I am a free Chinese living and working in Greece: I support the boycott of Beijing 2008 as my country China has a despicable human rights record.

I AM CHINESE AND I SAY DO NOT GO TO CHINA - BOYCOTT CHINA AND BEIJING 2008.

Today in 2008, and only 18 days before the Olympics, there are hundreds if not thousands of poeple being held in prison or on death row just for speaking freely their mind. China and Turkey have the worst human rights records in the supoosed civilised world and yet the whole world is licking their arse. The IOC’s members continue to turn a deaf ear to repeated appeals from international organisations that condemn the scale of the repression.

From the outset, Reporters Without Borders has been opposed to holding the Olympic Games to Beijing. Now, one month before the opening ceremony, it is clear the Chinese government still sees the media and Internet as strategic sectors that cannot be left to the “hostile forces” denounced by President Hu Jintao. The departments of propaganda and public security and the cyber-police, all conservative bastions, implement censorship with scrupulous care.

Around 30 journalists and 50 Internet users are currently detained in China. Some of them since the 1980s. The government blocks access to thousands for news websites. It jams the Chinese, Tibetan and Uyghur-language programmes of 10 international radio stations. After focusing on websites and chat forums, the authorities are now concentrating on blogs and video-sharing sites. China’s blog services incorporate all the filters that block keywords considered “subversive” by the censors. The law severely punishes “divulging state secrets,”“subversion” and “defamation”- charges that are regularly used to silence the most outspoken critics. Although the rules for foreign journalists have been relaxed, it is still impossible for the international media to employ Chinese journalists or to move about freely in Tibet and Xinjiang.China has destroyed Tibet with support of the US and let's not forget what happened to free and defenseless students in Tiannemen......this is the true face of China - killing, blood and blocking of freedom. The only good that will come from China is $$$$ not for ordinary Chinese but for McDonald's, Starbucks, BMW, Coca-Cola and other stupid american-style multinationals. The Chines do not yet realise that they are being taken advantage of and being led completely astray eventually only to be blinded by American consumerism - then like the rest of the world they will be prisoners to their own debt to banks, insurance companies etc....

I feel sorry for China because they are being taken in for a ride by the west being given all the wrong examples to follow.

The only thing that will teach my country a lesson is if people rise up against the regime during the Olympics causing havoc for the Olympics and for the tourists and athletes. This is the only way the world will realise their mistake.

A lot of stuff to chew on in your post. Some points aren't bad. "The true face of China" is a bit difficult to boil down that simply, though. Everyday folks here generally quite OK, generous, loyal and polite.

Its the instant they ascend into a leadership role. Then its another story.

The Reporters Without Borders Fraud
May 13, 2005 By Salim Lamrani

The strong suspicions that have surrounded the dubious and partisan activities of Reporters without Boarders (RSF) were not unfounded. For many years, various critics have denounced the largely political actions of the Parisian entity, particularly with regards to Cuba and Venezuela, whose characteristics that utilizes propaganda is obvious. The positions of RSF against the governments of Havana and Caracas are found in perfect correlation with the political and media war that Washington carries out against the Cuban and Venezuelan revolutionaries.

Finally the truth has come to light. Mr. Robert Ménard, secretary general of the RSF for twenty years, has confessed to receiving financing from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), an organization that depends on the U.S. Department of State, whose principal role is to promote the agenda of the White House for the entire world. Ménard was indeed very clear. "We indeed receive money from the NED. And that hasn't posed any problem." (1)

Former U.S. president, Ronald Reagan, created the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in 1983, during a period in which military violence took the place of traditional diplomacy in order to resolve international matters. Thanks to its powerful ability of financial penetration, the NED's goal is to weaken governments that would oppose the foreign hegemonic power of Washington.(2) In Latin America, the two targets are Cuba and Venezuela.

Enjoy living your life in this democratic society will you? If you can't help making your fellow chinese in the main land a better life, then don't try to screw it up. Let others fight for their human right! PLEASEzzzzzzzzzzz!

All the ones defending the CCP are Chinese living abroad, or Australians, or Americans or Germans.

We even got people inside China all over the provinces defending their evil, corrupt and barbarious government.

You yourself is under a grand illusion. And thats not healthy.

How do you do it? I mean how do you have such a thick skin to pretend you actually won every argument without winning any? You have what I call "I won because i said so" syndrome. Just a question, do you really believe that or do you just have unusual low level of integrity comparing to everyone else.

Given the little phony "victory spasms" your friend "Do it the Princelings Way" engages in, it's odd that you focus on my obvious teasing of him, and not his bizarre juvenile rants.
What does that tell us about YOUR integrity, or lack thereof?

What do you mean? he countered your point logically and makes sense until you started rambling and name calling. I just kind of ignored that part from both sides. If you can show me evidence and logic in your posts then I will back you too. Until then, no cigar.

A fraud is a fraud, and should be exposed, in this case not even by a Chinese publication. And no, I'm not a CCP member. Even within my extended family, there are KMT members, but no CCP member. Do you know what KMT is?

Don't be ignorant. No political entity is ever "good". As a Chinese, I have a responsibility in pointing out the false accusation and biased presentation against my country, especially by those organization that are funded by foreign governments with a single purpose of demonizing and destablizing countries who does not agree with them around the world.

The olympics are for all countries of the world to compete in the sports arena. May I say that again? The sports arena...Not the political arena.
The city of Toronto, Canada lost the bidding competition to host these summer games of 2008. Beijing was voted overwhelmingly to host these games. Was the IOC wrong in thier decision making? Only the future will tell...
I do know that China is working very hard to host these olympic games succesfully. It would be a shame if any country were to "boycott" these games. It is only the athletes who will suffer.
Naturally, I definately wanted the games to be hosted by my city and country but, that was not to be. ALL THE BEST FOR SUMMER OLYMPICS 2008 IN CHINA.

I'm sure the Bei-jungle Olympics will mark the worst one in sport history. China is still a land of so much barbaric people. These people don't know what the "spirit of sport" is. In addition, the CCP only uses this event to advertise itself, not Sport whatsoever. Pathetic!

True, Beijing was voted overwhelmingly to host the Olympics. The world is supporting Beijing's efforts to make this the best Olympics yet. Those China basher with ill wills against Beijing will only serve to isolate themselves, looking foolish after the successful hosting of the Olympics.

Calling yourself two cents is over confident. Not a penny worth is what I see through your comments. "..looking foolish after the successful hosting of the Olympics", don't you know the whole civilized World already seen what China had done to Tibetan people? We've even seen how chinese "college" students behaved in South Korea. Think about it! "college" students acting like that, immagine the chinese peasants, how do they behave. I personally think you guys are barbaric, need to evolve yourself to become true human beings! May God may you guys evolve quicker to catch up with the civilized people around the world.
