Activists want pets rescued from volcano
Help is on the way for hundreds of household pets left behind in the wake of a volcano eruption in southern Chile, an animal welfare group said Saturday.

The problem with these people is that they aren't usually equipped or trained to deal with the conditions they find. They end up putting more rescue people at risk to bail them out.
I have my own dog, and I would go to considerable lengths to keep her safe, but there are limits on what can be done. |

I watched the newscast of people with their luggage boarding a plane.....pet dogs following along like they expected to be going with them. Too bad! These people had time to pack clothes but couldn't arrange to save a living being who's probably going to fry alive or suffocate?

When we got there, we could not find any animals, but the locals had just finished a big barbecue!!!

i have a dog and i would do anything to keep her safe. she is just like a little sister. I LUV HER!!!! so i hope that they save the animals! GO RESCUE PEOPLE!!! BUT DO BE CAREFUL! i luv animals with all my heart. they are doing the right thing. i just hope they can do it in time. and if u are one of the people who left your animal there and you are reading this well f**k YOU!!!!!!
