Keith Mitchell is simply a crook who has brought our country into disrepute. Consider the following:(a) he imports stone from another Caribbean country,(b) he sells our passport; (c) he sells diplomatic passports to shady characters; (d) he is caught taking a bribe; (e) he uses the court and Wildman, his henchman, to go after his enemies for actions he himself has taken,(f) the government has a judgment against it and the judgment creditor is in the process of trying to determine the country's assets so it can seize them; (g) there is pending matter in federal court in New York against the government and some of its members; (i) he wastes government resources to selectively go after Peter David for being a dual citizen of Grenada and Canada,(j) he thumds his nose at the judiciary; he refuses to go to court; he fires the senior magistrate for doing her job; he unfairly criticizes judges when he loses. Should I continue?

The regime that gave away the Lagoon and the adjacent park area to outside interests deserved to lose. The large expensive boats that will now come into the Lagoon will not bring business to the locals as they outfit their vessels before coming to Grenada. The small (20-60 feet) cruising vessels were the ones who shopped along the carenage, downtown, and around the Lagoon. This area will see much less business in the future due to Mr. Mitchell's shortsightedness.

Let's also hope the new regime is more interested in increasing the government school budgets, which are sorely lacking now. The current school supplies, textbooks, and equipment are sadly outdated.

I Voted NDC and I'm proud. Never felt this patriotic since Bishop days.Mitchell betrayed the country and tried to satisfy his ego.The majority of us say so, so he had to go.POWER TO THE PEOPLE, THE MASSES.

Keith is the best
As a British Born Grenadian I have visited Grenada fifteen times and I have been overly impressed with Keiths dedication to making a small nation big rebuilding the Queens Park stadium and the port and market are major achievement and i still believe him to be driven and passionate about Grenada. As always when you are one of the smallest and poorest economies in the world and all you have in your pack of cards is the countries natural beauty and fertility and climate then land becomes the commoditiy.Failings are frequent in aggresively building and rebuilding nations but please remember the 95% devastation that Ivan left nearly five years ago and what grenada looks like now.I judge whar I see I hope the new prime minister has the balls to make the moves keith has made.Keith has been a legend and if the new PM builds on the foundations keith has laid then Grenada will progress exponentially which is what it is all about.

Mr Marshall I beg to disagree with you. All that glitters is not gold. First you have to ask yourself whether the infrastructural development in Grenada will bring income to Grenada or whether it will take income away from our people, the debt runs into billions- much of which is unnecessary. The tax payer will be called upon to repay this extravagance. Secondly, since you are not aware of the facts about the rebuilding of Grenada after Ivan let me point out to you that it was foreign countries (Caribbean, Venezuela and others) and the Diaspora in Britain, New York, Washington and Canada that rebuilt Grenada after Ivan. Mithchell did precious little. He took the aid received and gave it to his party supporters and imposed a tax when he should be giving tax relief. What a foolish man!!!
