I read your note and I also attended the OTS in the late 50's. I dont really remember a Dr. Hall, but may have just blocked it out of my memory. I did see a Dr. that had told me I had sex before going there. However, I certainly did not remember this event!!! I did not even know that there was a law suit going on.

Does anyone know of a support forum for girls who attended grandview reform school for girls?

Was also at grandview for a few yrs 1970 or so i think ,memory of that time not the best.Not sure if there is any suport group but i think there might have been something on facebook. take care and besafe!!!

there is a group on face book although your memory not the best would you recall a woman named joyce collings

i was there in the 1970 and the abuse was bad for me and others .the government had our files from there but a lot of us were never contacted about the law suit against grandview so we never knew until they closed the cases.thanks

I was there in 1961 and stayed in the admission block.I cannot remember many of the girls who stayed with me apart from Beverley who was adopted from there I believe.I lost my virginity from a doctor who did a medical examination.
Life just got worse as I grew older and now at the age of 63 the memories of that time are still there.
I should never have been put in there,I just wanted love from my parents but alas it never came.

I was there and I remember it all and yes Mr Flearty she did die she disembowled herself on Dec 11 1963 all the truth has not been told YET

I was abused back in the 1974 to 1976

I was in Collingwood house 1957-58. I think Mrs. Kozak put Beatty house on silence in the dining room for a year and they won a TV for being the quietest diners. I remember Annie M. refusing to eat her orange at breakfast and she sat at the table for the whole day. After supper she was taken upstairs to detention and was fed oranges the whole time. Ruth Bentley was a sick woman.
