Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce,
alleging misrepresentations about the bank's exposure to the ( North ) American subprime mortgage market.
The claim alleges that the bank misrepresented its total exposure to USA subprime loans by
saying it "was 'not a major issue' when,

Canada's inflation rate jumps to 3.1%
The annual rate of inflation in Canada jumped to 3.1 per cent in June, the biggest rise in almost three year years, fuelled by soaring gasoline prices, Statistics Canada said Wednesday.

I guess it's 3.1 percent if you are going out buying big screen tvs and the like.
But if the majority of your budget is spent on FUEL to go make money to buy FOOD, and pay the RENT, then obviously Stats Con "inflation rates" are exactly that, government propaganda. For some of us the inflation rate, is more like 26-35%. |
