This is good news for burundians who wish to live abroad.
This money transaction or late say burundi transaction if it work Ithink their a lot of benefit fron this journey. First. those who have family and children their will benefit for going to america live and study. See and learn new life in america.to know how people are living in this world not like those who live in muyinga, gitega, ngozi bubanza etc. Florida or atlanta is not the same like cibitoke or bururi where no water no toilet and light. THEIR WILL ENJOY MACDOL AND PIZZA. etc. We have to pray for those are going to usa to safe journey and to reach the point for america administration. |

I would suggest a more rural area of the usa, say somewhere in the southern part, the weather is similar and there are lots of jobs down south, plus its less congested and the ppl are alot nicer... thanks

I wish to all the lucky ones who will be taken to U.S all the best in their new western lifestyle.
However they should always remember fellow Burundians especially those who are starving to death in our beloved nation of "milk&honey". Bazokwame bibuka ababo n'igihugu cabavyaye.Si Uburundi bwabirukanye ariko ni vya bipfamutima ba mpemazuzuye bikinze ubwoko mugutabagura igihugu no kuzuza imifuko yabo. It is my prayer that the U.S project will be successful.Mugire urugendo rwiza Barundi benemama."Akanyoni katagurutse ntikamenya iyo bweze" |

Let me appreciate this wonderful decision of resettlement of the burundians who were really suffering outside of their mother land. The Almighty God can not forget his people, it takes time. Congratulations my dear Brothers and sisters who have got this chance. I would like to wish you al the best in the USA, don't forget how much your motherland is so poor in many things: Starvation, corruption, education, hate,...
Burundi will count on your support, inform your children how much Burundi is in need of them. God bless you. |

Claudia- our church has just (yesterday) helped settle a family from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Knoxville TN. They have been living in a refugee camp the last 8 years. We have very few French interpreters in our church. Do you know any W. Africans in Knoxville who speak French who we can connect them with to help them with the language barrier? Thanks- Chuck Sissom csissom@comcast.net

Hi,
I am not living in TN, but I am always willing to help news refugees in the US (anywhere). I can be reached through e-mail. I speak French and other central/east African languages! P.S: Most W. Africans don't speak French! |

It is quite okey for burundians who have leave their mother land from a longer ago to be resettled in USA as they will enjoy their good time to be in USA, but they have also to work hard to help their mother land and relatives left in TZ and in BURUNDI.
