Dear Mr. Pisut
As a Bhutanese i feel its my responsibility to provide you some details on jow to get to Bhutan from a personal knowledge. it may not necessarily be true. the first thing id you have to apply for a VISA, thats avbious and second important step is that you must go on a tour package offered by many tour agents in Bhutan. you may contact any one of them. Once there is information ( some sort of coordination between the tour agents and the Royal Government exists) about your plan to visit Bhutan through a tour agent the government processess for your VISA, which is generally made available once you reach Paro Airport. the logic behind this arrangement is that the government is not in favor of Back Pack trekkers (tourists) and partly due to the policy of "High Value - Low Volume" tourism so that only those who genuinely want to make a visit will make the tour. Another reason is that Bhutanese doesnt appreciate mass influx of foriegners and leave the land polluted as has happened in few countries. so my personal suggestion is that you immediately contact any tour agents in Bhutan personally or through any of your local agents to arrange for your tour. i understand you want o visit the country, so i think it might be helpfull if you take some time to contact and arrange your tour. i hope my suggestion is helpful. if i could be of any further help u may contact me in handsomepeon@hotmail.com regards Proud to be a citizen of the sun kissed himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. |

this country, Bhutan, has been my mysterious place for me for a long time and is being looked forward to seeing. But loving in this country gets much more when i had a great chance to know lovely 2 bhutanese guys in Denmark, especially a lively guy who lives in Phuntsholing. we had a period of happy time together there but too short, 2 months. we r from different countries but we fall in love each other so it is the beginning of our sad story when we had to go back our home. He gave me a promise that he will try to c me at my country. Should I wait for him here or go to Bhutan, my love country, to find him and see his face once, named BR. I trust that ' love without boundary'
