As all of you will be aware based on information sent from ABTO, that Dhur Tsachu route including the ending/starting part of Gangkhar Phuensuem and Snowman Trek are inaccessible. As soon as we received the information we have explored for an alternative route and accordingly have sent a group to clear the route and make it accessible.

Most of the damages are between Menchugang (above Thangbi Mani) and Dhur Tsachu, making it inaccessible not only for Dhur Tsachu Trek but also for Gangkhar Phuensum Trek and Snowman Trek, which uses this last leg of the trek.

The alternative route however needs clearance at certain areas. Clearing this alternative route would be much faster compared to Menchugang to Dhur Tsachu, which would tale more than 2 months.

The alternative route is as follow, however, it would mean to increase the duration by one night.

· Dhur Tsachu – Juli Tsho
· Juli Tsho - Khatang
· Khatang – Nasibi
