Romania, Cyprus remain opposed to Kosovo independence

BDW, Kosovo is serbian land. Albanians have Albania for "independence"! Bravo Romania! Bravo Cyprus! EU must read the history book...again!

So Kosovo is independent.

What does it mean "serbian land"?

After all, this medieval mentality dragged Serbia into bloody wars: massacre in Srebrenica, attacks against Bosnia and Croatia, many people died...
Because Milosevic believed it those were "serbian lands"... but populated by other nations...

I find this land-related fight somewhat similar to Hitler's ambitions.

I think Kosovo doesn't "belong" to some other country (e.g. Serbia), but to its population.

Now, you have to listen, Hitler claimed lands from other nations what in our case makes the muslims from Kosovo so much alike him. I really don't think Serbians would "massacre" anyone if not to defend their land from muslim invasion?

we romanians have a somewhat common ancestry with albanian. as we know main albanian ancestors were illyrians, dacians and thracians. romanians and albanians share the dacian ancestry.
so why most of romanians dont side with albanians?
my main reasons:
-serbia seems the best neighbour that romania has (even if we betrayed their trust when we let NATO and US use our airspace in the war)
-serbians are civilised people unlike albanians.
-serbians praise the same values as us.
-serbians are honorable, honest and courageous.
still, while serbs praise Milosevic, i think he was a weak and uninteligent leader that made the actual situation.

serbians are ortodox like romanians...albanians are muslims...and don't take me wrong, is Ok to be muslim as long they don't invade or force the others(the ortodox) to convert to their religion?

Stupid americans you can't understand the European concept of a nation because US does not have a nation, you have more like a immigrant nation.

The danger to Albanians will come from EU not from Russia.

Even if EU leders are saying so the majority of EU citizen are against Kosovo's independence, US can't understand the European concept of a nation and why Kosovo can't be independent because would create a new Albania not a new state.

We expect more from Hungarians, not the same "shit". You have an interesting way to support your cause, very similar to the albanian style: rude language and ideas.

I dont mind albans living in serbia but stealing the land is wrong. How wood u feel if albans stoke a part of sweden?or something.

The serbs had no problems slaughtering their brethren who just happened to be muslim or catholic in Bosnia and Croatia.
Even the montenegrins refused to be in a union with the serbs. How ironic...serbs refused to associate themselves with other serbs.
But nooo...the albanians need to be in a union.Why??????

I would advise the serbs against drawing analogies between renters and homeowners because, after Pristina, you might loose Beograd too since you were WELCOMED in these lands by the Byzantines.

Romania is the sole Regional Power of South Eastern Europe/Balkans, Romania's population being about the same as ours - Australia 22 million - Romania 22 million, with Romania ranking 10th in the world for natural resources - Romania has similar natural resources to Australia other that Australia has more uranium there is hardly a difference between my Countries natural resources and Romania's. Romania is an EU and a NATO Member.

Romania GDP will be by far the highest in 10-15 years time and Romania's Per Capita be among the highest in the world in 20-25 years time for certain. I have looked at the IMF Estimates and its proof that Romania's GDP and Per Capita rises fast.

Romania was never part of the Soviet Union or Yugoslavia. Romania and Australia have some things in common when you come to think about it some of the common standings I have explained in my comments.

Albanians are drug dealers, criminals, non european, non white and non christian.

Serbs are brave and our best naighbours.

And Kosovo historicaly belongs to them.

It was Serbian after the Turks, and BEFORE the Turks, and we know it.
