3. Lukashenko Plays Coy With Kremlin

Full story: www.themoscowtimes.com

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko maintained his noncommittal stance toward Moscow on Thursday when much-anticipated talks with President Dmitry Medvedev ended with few tangible results. The three-hour meeting in Sochi was the first between the two leaders since talks last spring in Medvedev’s residence outside Moscow, after which relations between Minsk and Moscow plummeted to unprecedented lows. Despite Belarus’ dire financial situation, the presidents apparently did not make any progress on loans or energy, the two issues that analysts have identified as laying at the core of the difficulties between Moscow and Minsk. .

It's really funny how NATO, a treaty against Soviet Union and all "bad neighbors" of that time, now turned into the world's police, freeing the sh*t out of people with different culture and religion, who are said to have WMD. I think speculations about possession of WMD is just for justifying further attacks on these countries in near future, in the eyes of regular sheep.

During the First Gulf War, we shouldn't have settled with just driving the Iraqis out of Kuwait... we should have marched to Baghdad. It would've saved us a Second Gulf war.

Is this the same "global bully" that gave its blood and treasure to free Europe from Hitler, communisim, and the world from dictators and tyrants? Is this the same "global bully" who's people are the biggest money, food cash donations, medical supplies and volunteers free of charge to Africa, Latin Americaand other God forsaken places? Is this the same "global bully" that has graciously given the world exponential leaps in science, medical, electronic and communications advancements? Is this the "global bully" that gave you freedom of speech to stupidly say it's a "global bully"? Yes, even nuts like you can open their moronic mouths and otherwise make fools of themselves while living here, without fear of being arrested in the middle of the night. Maybe you should leave and move to a "Democratic" North Korea, Burma, Zimbabwae, Sudan, Russia etc. or any other "workers paradise". They have plenty of room in their jails for ignorant morons like you!

When you, Americans, will learn that you are not the world's police? You should learn history. Not history of USA but history of the world, and you'll see that the USA didn't win a single war during their history (WWII isn't an exception, you wouldn't win without Russia, Britain, and other allies). Have some modesty, americans! Look inside of your own country with 40 mln people living in misery! And don't teach countries with ancient, 1000-5000 yo history how to live.

As for Belarus, leave it alone! Every "democratic" country calls Lukashenko "the last European dictator" and don't want to shake his hand. But both USA and Europe (and sometimes even Russia) are the best friends with half-fascist Estonia and Latvia, with Azerbaijan (it has oil), all former Soviet "*stans" in Middle Asia (they have gas, uranium), with Georgia (inspite of 1000s of political prisoners). It's called DOUBLE STANDARDS, ladies and gentlemen! I was in Belarus. I'd love my Canada, and USA learn so much from "dictator" Lukashenko! Everything I read now in western papers about human rights in Belarus and its opposition is BS! Do you know that leaders of opposition live in USA or Poland, but not in prison? Do you know that everyone who goes to opposition's meeting is being paid in US dollars (I wonder, where do they come from, eh?)

Who to believe: oppositions or the authorities?
Began his march asylum by oppositions in foreign countries before the election, as always. This can be formulated differently: Workers third-party money. Oppositions have long discovered the easy money line that flow of foreign money into the pockets of taxpayers invented oppositions and officials. And there are fools who think that in Belarus there are oppositions. All the money that oppositions get through different organizations and embassies, simply ends up in the pockets of those opozitsionerov and their relatives. This is my personal experience in previous elections, when leaders of the oppositions "offered 10 cents for each signature and, ultimately, no one and nothing is given, except for a jar of coffee for 25 people. And in their reports to the foreign partners have reported 100%. But sitting in restaurants these opozitsionery with officials, drink and laugh at those who collected signatures and are an enemy of the country and the leaders of the oppositions prezidenta. They sit in warm offices and count the money from other countrys taxpayers. The same held rallies and demonstrations, which meets unemployed youth or any random students who have been pledged $ 5 per attendance at the demonstration and are always deceived.
All these false apozitsionery during the elections set up a mansion, purchased new cars from other countrys and provide their children with overseas lucrative real estate. the misguided people continue to believe: that's BOLSHOE SPASIBO RYKOVODITELU master, the master will judge us! How many people lost their jobs, believing the "new politicians"? But the main thing in their work report foreign friends. These false opozitsionery clearly striding across the head of young people and those who believe in their lies.
People who believe in themselves, rather than fictional uncles and aunt, who waved behind your different flags and hiding behind your backs . And you'll be extreme! They receive huge amounts of money for you, and your own hands, raking in the heat.
