How to rent a flat in Minsk?

I'm planning to come to Minsk in September. I've found a lot of information about different agencies that offer to book a flat. But i just want to know if i really can trust them, are these services legal and reliable. May be somebody has a richer experience of hiring a flat in Minsk? I'll be really grateful for any help. TIA

Hi Toni, i would advise u to contact a real trustworthy person whose name is Galina about renting the flat in Minsk, I rented from her a flat few times and the servise was really great, no complains at all. Her email is belarus_tours@yahoo.com Hope that will help u!

Rent apartment in Minsk - no problem. But you should not look for an apartment through an agency !!!!! In the newspaper "Hand in Hand" enough ads from owners kvartir.The is 4 times cheaper than through an agency. In the hotels in the capital of Belarus the price for foreigners is higher in 4-5 times than in European hotels. Over the same hotel room foreigner pays 20 times more than someone Belarusian man.The is morazm officials and prezident.They think that apart from Belarus foreigners nowhere to rest.
