Incredible. An Arab Jew? Native Bahraini, certainly not an Israeli. A Jewish Arab, an Arab Jew. This is possible? An Arab woman ambassador who is Jewish.
Both have the same God of course, but to be the same as in both human beings. Remarkable.

I've been to many countries as well and they are called deli's but they ain't Jewish delis. In fact, I couldn't find one in Sydney. It called itself one and served bagels, but it wasn't a bagel. No, I never saw a Jewish deli in Egypt or Jordan. Nor in Saudi Arabia. Where have you found them?

I live in an area where one of the biggest lunch and dinner places is a Palestinian owned pita style diner where the place is crowded all the time. Jews, Muslims, Indians and such mix and jabber away. It is great to see and great food. We don't fear being bombed..in any of the 7 Muslim owned, or 5 kosher restaurants on the street, nor in the Pakistani store or the various chain take outs. How nice it is.

I checked, there are between 25 and 35 Jews in Bahrain.

And the average Bahraini wouldn't have a clue that there is a Jewish presence here.

I bet that restaurant thrives..
