i have the opportunity to work for an international company in bahrain, but before i move ahead, i would like to know what is the average salary for a manager or (chief of department), what is the cost of renting 3bed room villa of appartment????
is the transport good, or a car is necessary ???
i'm biker, is there bike dealer in bahrain like KTM, Yamaha, HONDA....

Can anyone tell me, what is the best way to find a job in Bahrain? I live in the USA with my wife and kids. We have been living hear for the last 20 years. Now we feel we need a change of place, for us and for our children. After looking at many places we felt the Middle East especially Bahrain and UAE is one of the places we would like to move. i m civil design engineer and now i curentlly im in saudi arabia taken a salary BD550+all allowance

I'm moving to bahrain in a month. Should i get some kind of international cell phone here in the states before I leave? should I get a vonage 30$ month VOIP to call back to the states without charges?

In other words, what the best mechanism to call back to the states from over there and the cost?

Cellphones in Bahrain are now cheap, but the best way to call home is either through one of the (also cheap) voip cards or through skype.

I m a SQA engineer from Pakistan. I have recieved a job from bahrain of 600 BD/month only. I really need to know whether its feasible to live with a spouse in this amount? And can any body tell, may I be able to save any thing. Things looks strange. I don't know why they people really give such a low salary.
