Azerbaijan to buy JF-17 multirole fighters from Pakistan

Azerbaijan Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and Defense Industry Minister Yavar Jamalov are scheduled to make an official visit to Pakistan.

The meetings during the visit are to cover cooperation between Azerbaijani and Pakistan in defense industry, APA reports.

Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan and Foreign Ministries of the two countries are preparing for the visit.

Safar Abiyev and Yavar Jamalov are said to hold several official meetings in the Pakistani Defense Ministry. Defense Industry Minister Jamalov will talk with the Secretary of Pakistan Defense Ministry Shaig Siddig Termidi on cooperation prospects.

During attending the IDEAS international military exhibition in Pakistan, Azerbaijan showed interest to JF-17 multirole fighters as well as tanks and small arms made in Pakistan.

BEIJING: The first state of the art JF-17 Thunder fighter plane produced in Kamra will roll out by the end of this month.

This was stated by Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Pakistan Air force in an interview on Saturday.

“This will start a new era in Pak-China relationship, and aviation industry”, said CAS while talking to source.

Rao Qamar Suleman is currently here to attend the 60th anniversary of founding of PLAAF.

“Both China as well as PAF are attaching lot of importance to this project”, CAS Rao Qamar said.

The JF-17 fighter aircraft will help to replace the existing fleet of PAF comprising F-7, A-5 and all Mirage planes, he added.

We need to buy it , the war not finished yet and it may start anytime as mentioned by our president...so we have to make a deal with Pakistan or any other country to buy those JF-17 fighter plane as soon as possible..

Until June 2010 More Than 200 Units of these 4th generation Fighter Planes would be Rolled out from the Aeronautical Complex in Pakistan and Then every One can have it .. Superior Fighter Plane a very cost effective Plane..

It's much better than the obsolete junk that you could buy from the United States and at a lower price too.

Pakistan gets first of four AWACS aircraft

Pakistan Air Force, attaining excellence to better protect our beloved Pakistan MashAllah.

“ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday inducted the first of Airborne Warning and Control (AWAC) aircraft into its fleet. India was the first to introduce the latest AWACS surveillance aircraft in the region when it received its first delivery of three Israel Aircraft Industries Phalcon systems in May this year.”

The only threat to Pakistan is from internal Islamic sources of terror and barbarity. Fighter planes ans AWACS will be of little help.

I sincerely hope this killing within Pakistan stops and regard for innocent people is restored. As I said above I doubt the answer is fighter planes and AWACS units. The Pakistani people have to unite against these crazed killers.

jf17= f16 block 30... but these r cheaper than f16. and pakistan building operational uav's (pilotless planes) they r waiting turkish missiles.very good progress .. turkey and pakistan have some common projects. i think azerbaycan should join us..
