Azerbaijan is especially interesting if one would like to see feudal lords doing what they do best, suppressing the opposition, imprisoning and killing journalists, dodging cars as they run red lights (of course they are mostly BMW 745s so if you get hit it's by a class car), terribly rude people and a pride in themselves that is totally unwarranted. It's just great here.

Every country has its effects and defects.
If you are going to Azerbaijan just like a visitor and there is no danger for your life and health, why not to go?

Since "Bewildered in Baku" ISP location is in "Baku, Azerbaijan" - and the Azeri government does not issue any visas to people with "ian" at the end of their name - I doubt that the original poster is Armenian.
Nice try though.

I thought the forum question was to visit Baku or not. Now what the hell are Armenians doing on this forum since they can't go there anyway?! Who cares for what you think, since everyone knows it is biased. So shut up and let other people speak up their opinion.

I visted the Caucasus in 2006, Georgia and Azerbaijan both look alike, nice countries, Caucasus culture is kinda European but still different then anything I have seen so far. Although Georgia was nice to Azerbaijan had more to offer, I mean serieus people there are no hotels in Georgia, not even 3-star!!

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Taurus

Are you in listening mode today? Let's hope so because someone wants to bend your ear and they're hoping that you can spare the time and energy for them. Although your first instincts may tell you to give them plenty of advice, try to stop yourself volunteering it unless it's asked for. Even then, you may get the sense that you're really being asked to listen, not talk.
