I hope you all know that my user name stands for Australian Tourism Centre Employee. Us employees are the only people actually use the products and so its in our interests to divert you from the truth about our business as we need to keep the holidaty destinations happy by ripping you off!!

An Englishman wanted to become an Irishman, so he visited a doctor to find out how to go about this. "Well" said the doctor, "this is a very delicate operation and there is a lot that can go wrong. I will have to remove half your brain". "That's OK" said the Englishman. "I've always wanted to be Irish and I'm prepared to take the risk".

The operation went ahead but the Englishman woke to find a look of horror on the face of the doctor. "I'm so terribly sorry!!" the doctor said. "Instead of removing half the brain, I've taken the whole brain out". The patient replied, "No worries, mate!!"

Wouldnt that help the people more Jamie than talking abot footy? Werent you the one who wanted everyone to know about the dodgy scam that the VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE were running?

And what about those crap AMBASSADOR OR VIP CARDS? Have you tried ringing them?? Some old lady is on the message. I think its Craigs Mum!

Of course though as people started to realise that we were SCAMMING them, and the complaints at CONSUMER AFFAIRS mounted up, I lost my job and now sit at home dreaming about the heady days when I was a brilliant 'Tele marketer'..yes ladies and gentleman, it is the stuff of dreams isnt it!! All my life I held fast to the belief that I could acheive this amazing career choice!!

Oh well, I guess Im never going to earn $3 dollars an hour again, and I do accept that the AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE is going down the tube as is the AMBASSADOR CARD but I have my memories god damn you Jamie, I have my memories and you cant take those away...ever

But I cant help but remind you that you were working for a very dishonest company who deliberately mislead customers not only about who they were, but about what the card could actually offer...like 5% off petrol and groceries..Now we BOTH know thats a lie dont we??

This will be hard Ex Employee but we need to go over the FACTS once again dont we...

FACTS ABOUT VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE - NOW TRADING AS AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE. ALSO SPRUIKING VIP CARDS AND AMBASSADOR CARDS

FACT 1: VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE has had so many consumer complaints made about its business practises that you can walk into any consumer affairs office in Victoria, mention the name and the representative will immediately know who you are talking about, as well as their deceitful practises.

FACT 2: VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE and its owners is currently the subject of court action being taken against it by the Dept of Justice(Vic)-(Consumer Affairs)in an effort to put a stop to their dishonest trading practises.

FACT 3: The name VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE has now been cancelled by the Dept of Justice due to the misleading and dishonest practises of this company. They are now trading under their other name AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE.

FACT 4: Sales telephone marketers working for this company VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE and AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE deliberately mislead phone call recipients into believing they are a government organisation. Many many many complaints that have been made against this company support this FACT!

FACT 5: Sales telephone marketers working for this company deliberately mislead phone call recipients into believing that by purchasing the VIP card, they will receive 5% off petrol and groceries at majot outlets including Coles outlets when they use the card at these places. This is LIE. Card holders CANNOT use these cards at these outlets to get any discount. You are directed to buy a Coles Wish card where if you purchase a $95 dollar card, you get $100 value. This is obviously not what marketers tell people.

FACT 6: None of the above facts are signs of an "honest' company who is just "doing their bit" to promote Australia as suggested recently on this blog. This company has built up a reputation over a lengthy period of time as a dishonest business who use deceitful sales practises in an effort to convince people to but the product.

The Truth shall set you free..

hahaha, I love it how just after one of your alter ego posts you straight after it. Must be a very very sad life you live. Maybe those vouchers could come in handy for you?

Not a dishonest company. as staated in earlier post it was the salespeople who went and said they were from the government. They were obviously very shitty sales people who could not rely on anything else. In the training I done, not once were we told to say it, or to make up anything about the product. We were given sheets of information and the booklets. It is pretty hard to fuck up if you read it all.

VIP card does get you 5%... Are you brain dead. Go to the ambassador card website and it is as clear as day there.

Fact 1: Any? are you sure about that. It is like with any business, there will be people who like your service, others who don't. Its the sad people like you who jump up and down about it.

Fact 2: Got proof? Even so, a lot of businesses have that action taken against them, it is nothing news.

Fact 3: Blame someone else, they were the ones who let them have that name in the first place... Must not have sounded to misleading then.

Fact 4: Read earlier. Company does not tell salespeople to do it. The shitty salespeople see it as a way to get people into the product. I have never used it, and i rekockon 90% of all employees also havent.

Fact 5:$100 card for $95 is still 5%... Were you that ignorant to think you could just scan it?

Fact 6: That is your opinion, not a fact. Out of the thousands sold, you are the main one jumping up and down. You do the math, I would say there are some pretty happy people going around.

No no, concerned person..you obviously dont know me..I can go MUCH lower!!! Id say I could almost get as low as a company like AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE and deliberately lie to innocent people over the phone under the guise of pretending to be doing something for tourism... but not quite. Now if I continually lie to people in order to take their money.,,now THATS low!!!

You have made something very clear though..It is DEFINATELY only been employees of Vic/Aust Tourism Centre and mates of Craig/Jacki who have been leaving comments on this blog over the past few days. There arent any HAPPY customers are there except the one who work for them.

The above fact really speaks volumes about the kind of people who work for AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE. Every comment like the other 'jamies' like the one above who uses abusive language, and all the race stuff have all been by employees and friends of those that work for AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE. I find this really enouraging that I am chipping away at a dysfunctional company who really need to go down the tube. There is aboviously not alot for Craig, jacki and the 'team' judging by the close attention they have been giving this blog. Nice to know you're supporting my cause though!!!

So...I look forward to reading and responding to more comments from people representing the AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE regardless of whether you use my name, Mr Squiggles,'Happy Customers' or anything else. Im happy to play that game too if thats all you've got!!!

THANK YOU FOR ADMITTING THAT SALES PEOPLE WORKING FOR VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE (now AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE) WERE DELIBERATELY LYING TO PHONE CALL RECIPIENTS ABOUT WHO THEY WERE REPRESENTING...CONGRATULATIONS ...FINALLY A BIT OF HONESTY FROM SOMEONE WHO IS BATTING FOR AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE!!!!

That all I want Ex Employee, and acknowledgement of the poor business practises that VICTORIAN TOURISM CENTRE were using have you have taken a little step forward..well done.

UNFORTUNATELY THE MANAGEMENT OF AUSTRALIAN TOURISM CENTRE HAS CONTINUED TO COVER THIS UP AND AVOIDED GIVING ANY OF THE CUSTOMERS AFFECTED ANY REFUNDS.
