If you are speaking about the general dumbing-down of the populace, I agree.birthright includes language, many have taken that right away from children regardless of sexual orientation.

Judged: 1 Fair enough question. Here's my answer Not only was I adopted out at birth but so were both of my birth parents. Both born after 1945. When they were in their 30s they traced their birth families and now have a great relationship. My birth father came looking for me the child he had when he was 16 years old and never knew about till he ran into my birth mum by chance in Sydney back in 1975. I'll be 48 this year and he found me when I was 42. My Parents and myself are what you could refer to as the Second Stolen Generation. Maybe first too as there is Aboriginal heritage on my birth mums side.Mind you in my opinion that would be bordering on ridiculous. I know things are different these days. But finding out the truth about my adoption burns deep inside and makes me angry. |

Tweeter, don't like your comment. A father never judges his son's or daughter's sexual preferance. A father's love is unconditional. Maybe that's how you felt but you're wrong. Disappointed probably but no hate. Given time a father lives and learns and always loves.

Judged: 1 1 1 I truly feel for gay people out there that buy into that born gay crap. If it weren't for gay scientists like Levay, Hamer, Bailey and Pillard, there would be a lot less confusion for everyone. There studies never proved what they had hoped. This set many people in the gay community up for disappointment, not to mention embarrassment. All there studies where later considered pseudo scientific studies. And all were inconclusive. |

Judged: 2 1 1 This is a bogus argument regardless. It makes no difference if people are born gay or if they choose it (as homophobes insist anyway.) We don't allow denial of basic human rights based on inborn differences like race or gender. And we also don't allow denial of basic human rights based on clearly chosen differences, like religion or political affiliation. So it really doesn't matter if being LGBT is an inherent or a chosen difference. Basic human rights belong to all people no matter what their differences. |

Judged: 1 1 1 WRONG...it's a perversion. And it affects everyone, including your families and it affects society. It's a disorder that has gone untreated. I do believe it is still a mental illness, despite the fact that the APA was FORCED into removing it from their list of mental illnesses. And what's even worse are these homosexual militants that go around expecting everyone to accept it. Storming churches and protesting in the streets. It's a bunch of BS designed to intimidate and force the APA, and other government organizations into giving what the LGBT community wants. |
This begs any number of questions.. We discriminate against the handicap, like blind busdrivers as a matter of coarse. We have all male and all female colleges, bathrooms, locker rooms and the like that discriminate on the inborn trait of sex. We dont let practicing gay men donate blood. The list goes on Anti-discrimination policies are wide and take a range of approaches. This along with your understanding of "Basic human rights" tends to make all the difference in such arguments. |

Thank you for sharing. I hope you have found peace now that you are reconnected with your birth family. |
|
Are you talking about your adoptive father? Maybe that's why it was so important for you to have that connection and acceptance from your birth family, because you didn't get it while growing up? This makes me understand your very first comment from last week much better. If this is the case, then I'm even happier for you that you have found your loving birth family. |

Apparently this is Rex's favorite quote. He used it on me within a different context in another forum the other day. This boy has a serious fascination with "turds"!! |

Sexuality is a drive not a behavior, what is your excuse for your bigotry, were you born a bigot or was your inexcusable behavior taught? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Cut that bigot BS out. Yes human beings have a drive. Sometimes we are driven to commit murder. But most of us are able to control these urges. Homosexuality is definitely a choice. One must choose to act this out. No one person or thing can make you do that. It's up to you to control the beast within you. Anything else is just immoral and in this case perverse too. |

Judged: 1 How does having gay parents deny children their birthright? All parents should be gay. Everyone has the right to & should be gay. The world would be a better place if everyone was. As a matter of fact the little kids should be gay. They have as much right as anyone else. ~~???~~ Wait. You don't mean happy, do you? You mean homosexual. Sorry. Oops, my bad. Never mind. |
