Also, it is bizarre that he has a team of young women/girls with him at all times, then he plucks someone off the internet and does this? Wierd

Still stranger, his wife says she supports him and "would never make anyone do anything against their will" yuk, so does that mean if he claims she consented that it would be okay with that? a 15yr. old?

Where does it say that he met her on the internet? And where in Lehigh Township did this allegedly take place?

I guess if there was a used condom on the coffee table and it is found to have his DNA in it, then case closed. However, he could say she agreed. Either way he's not very bright to go after a 15 year old. And the wife's comment was odd the way she said he "wouldn't make anyone do anything against their will. So if the girl wanted it too, then it's alright??

In Australia there is no age for sex I do not believe. So the wife stating these things probably knows that her husband has been with young girls before.

I think we're going to find that he did not do this. Who's so stupid as to leave incriminating evidence on the coffee table? Even the biggest idiot would throw the thing away. Why would a man from a foreign country seek out a home in an unknown territory, break in, hoping to find a young girl available for illicit sex, forcibly rape her while using a condom, leave the condom behind, return to the house he's been renting, where he lives with a bunch of teenagers, and then turn himself in when he hears the cops are looking for him? I wonder what really happened.

I don't think her consent would even matter, since she is a minor.

In the cases where consent was issued, wouldn't there only be a statutory rape charge? In this case he is being charged with both, which leads me to believe that it was not consented... Other articles said that they met on the internet and she claimed to be 19... even if that's true... no is no.

WOW, I read that (internet thing) in the initial report when they were still looking for him. It was included under the initial picture. Maybe that changed after the first reports? Don't know, but remembered it because it sounded so strange considering he was traveling with young girls.
And his wife did say he had been working with young girls for years and never did anything bad and that he wouldn't make someone do something they didn't want to do.....is very strange statement.
Car racer says no age of consent in Australia..(didn't know that if true). I find that strange because the gov't. over there is saying it is cracking down on Aboriginal family sexual abuse. So how do they establish ages if there are none?..unless they are talking family incessed and that's it. I think there must be some kind of age of consent.

We had an American Coach leave his wife for a younger girl he coached a few years ago. I am not sure, but I think his name was Gibby Hatten.

He had a wife and baby and left them for a student in his biking class.

No one wanted him to appear or race at the track when this all came out.

I heard it from someone at work who went out there all the time. After the Hatten thing they stopped going.

Wow, I was looking at the laundry list of things he's been charged with - looks like they've thrown the book & the kitchen sink at him.

Whether the charges are ultimately proven or not, this incident (unfairly) gives all Australians a bad name in the US.
