Australian fined for buckling in beer, not child
An Australian man has been fined after buckling in a case of beer with a seat belt but leaving a 5-year-old child to sit on the car's floor, police said Tuesday.

Maybe the story was posted from Darwin about an incident that occured in Alice Springs. Really though, is that the most important part of the article? How hard is it to consider the safety of a child? |

article didn't say what beer; I imagine if it was Foster's oil cans, you don't need to strap that down, in fact, you are lucky you don't get a hernia for lifting 30 of those.
