Boat saga continues; another 103 nabbed

The Sri Lanka Navy intercepted three boats carrying illegal migrants last night; one in Trincomalee and two in Negombo.A total of 103 persons were arrested and handed over tothe police for investigations

In the boat intercepted in Trincomalee there were 34 persons while the two intercepted in Negombo were carry carrying 25 (11 ) and 44 ) in each.
Police and THE CID will conduct further investigations.

The joint action by the forces, police and the coastguards will continue, the Navy said.(SD)

And 22 of those admit to going back to Sri Lanka.
