Van der Sloot questioned again about missing teen

Maybe influenced with drugs but all the more he is telling it more accurate.

Would it not be harder to make up a story under the influence of drugs?

I agree with "johnnybegood". If VanDer Slick was as high as he claimed, how could his story have such detail? I think whoever saw the video truly witnessed this punk's confession.

I agree with all of you. He certainly didn't act drugged up when he was confessing. I worry that Aruba will let him off for good. They will probably dupe us again.

I also bet his Daddy helped dispose of her body.

Joran Van der sloot is definantly a big liar. and bad at it too. The Dutch Justice Department won't touch him until the have actural evidence of his crime. Hersay even live on a camera is not enough to convict him of murder. They'll just give him a slap on the hand and let him go. Though he's so loose with his tongue he talk to the wrong person again. He likes the camera on him. With his reputation blown with the women, he might as well go philosify in a cave off of some mountain like a hermit. He was awful arrogant about the way she died. He is not a decent person and I make that claim of his family. They are perverted, coniving, self ritious, and dirty dealing individuals. Prison does'nt scare anybody no more. they know they'll get three square meals a day, free bedding, and free clothes. They can play board games, watch TV have a Radio and see the latest movies out in theaters. Bu tif you count the death penalty, crime will fall expecially if its a public execution. Van der sloot is getting off easy.

I agree! I thought from the very beginning when his father wouldn't let him be questioned, there was way more to the story. I am just afraid his father's position will get him off scott free!

I agree!! I did see on the news last night that Aruba doesn't want them there. They are trying to strip the Daddy of any positions he holds in Aruba. Would that not be a good way to avoid punishing Joran and his Daddy?? Just throw them off the island and it becomes someone else's problem. Aruba is corrupt. The authorities there treated Natalee's family like dirt. They act as if Beth is only a thorn in their side.

Yea, the weed!! I have never smoked the stuff, but, wouldn't he have had SOME appearance of being stoned when he was admitting to what he did?? He spoke and acted perfectly sober as far as I could tell!!
There is corruption all over the world. You can get away with anything ifyou have the right name and the right connections. In Joran's case, his Daddy's position is exactly why he is not going to pay for what he did. I do not blame the Aruban people.Although I also wouldn't visit Aruba after seeing how the Natalee case has been handled.
The treatment of Natalee's family (by the Aruban authorities) and the way this case has been handled so far is unbelievable! Appallng!

As to rules in our country.....people here are livid about this case! Joran would be better off to never come to America. He would never make it to court.

His father helped him dispose of the body, knowing that if there was no body then prosecution would be highly unlikely. If that video isn't a confession, then what is?

You have to know this case is huuuge in my country!! The hours after the Peter de Vries broadcast there was even a little 'witchhunt'(is that English ;)) For example:A guy named JOHAN v.d. Sloot got stalked at his home by a lot of people.
I'm following this case since Natalee dissapeared. And I feel connected because I'm Dutch, I love the US (traveled around, got friends in Kendall (Fla.), follow all sports)and I lived in Aruba (Salina Cerka) in 1995 with my father to built the Marriott.
It's appalling yes, especially the aftermath for the parents. Everytime I see Natalees picture on TV it brings me down and ashamed for my country and justice dep.
About the dope. Weed is legal here, when I was younger it kept me away from harddrugs, and I can asure you, it numbs you a little but it keeps you more 'sane' than other drugs or, to me, even booze. He just can't find shelter behind that statement.
