What nonsense. The Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets are not going away within thirty years. I suspect he may have means the summer arctic sea ice?? In any case, he is a politician, not a scientist. His opinions on scientific facts have little credibility.

This GW has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous in a few years. It became ludicrous when Mangymann produced the Hokey Schtick, outrageous when Fat Al made his film full of lies and now we have Bonkers Moon to complete the set of three stooges.
Their script writers, special effects and stunt men are IPCC employees, while Jammy Hansen produces and directs.
Disney could do a lot better.

AGW is not affected by the loons, either the pro-science or the denialist crowd.

Bad grammar and made up names all you got? THe science is well founded and confirmed by the science academies as valid.

None of the "Inconvenient Truth" was defined as a 'lie'. Some inaccuracies and some difference from the 'current science' can be expected in a public documentary. It is not a science paper and not held to the same standards of 'precision' and accountability. It had to be 'annotated' for inclusion in a science class to point out the areas of debate.

He's a politician. What do you expect from a politician?

Bring in the rigorous and respected science of James Hansen just means that you are grasping at anything to sling mud at. And that is all you have.

Probably. At what? You have conflated at least three separate sets of conflicting agendas, from politicians to science documentaries to science itself. Which would Disney do better?

No, AGW isn't, "affected" by loons, but it certainly is being sold by them.

The science isn't, "confirmed" as valid, it's the best guess they have.

Yes, some of the content of Fat Al's film was defined as outright lies, take your pick from this selection:
http://www.google.es/search...

What do I expect from a politician?
The same as you, but remember, Fat Al was and still is a politician at heart, so Mr Ban has a lot to learn before cashing in on the system.

"Rigorous and respected science of James Hansen?"
Why, because you believe anything he has to say?
That's not enough to convince me or a few million other people.

Disney does much better in the presentation of fairy stories, which modern science still is.

we all know that Gore's stupid film was a faked-up load of old guff. Trouble is he gave politicians a way to tax us for bad weather.

What's worse is he got half of the country to actually want that tax.

As more and more people see reason and realise they're being duped, that number will dwindle.
The initial fear is turning into doubt as more of the hoax is exposed.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
