Khalida Toumi calls for immortalization of resistance heroines' fight

MEDEA (Algeria)- Culture Minister Khalida Toumi has reiterated Sunday in Medea province (west of Algiers) the ministry's commitment to contribute significantly to immortalize the heroic path of great Algerian female resistance fighters. Speaking at the opening of the national conference on Lalla Fathma Nsoumer, organized at Medea University, the minister pointed out that the contribution of Algerian women and their sacrifices for the liberation from the colonial yoke "should not be passed over in silence," adding that the fight and the heroic resistance of Lalla Fatma Nsoumer, and many other women, "is a source of pride for Algeria."

Algeria is the land of the braves, and that include men, women and even children.
