Why did the Romans call the Balkans, "Illyricum" and not by the name of any other of the provinces there? Because the Roman emperor who gave it this name was himself Illyrian and he knew the ethnicity of the predominant people of the whole area to be that of his own i.e. Illyrian. That is why your genes and your culture is not slavic and you have a Balkan identity. Accept it and embrace the classical heritage that you so desire. Or find me any evidence of an actual ancient slavic culture. Or perhaps you should relate to your small Persian gene pool for an ancient heritage. Or did I misunderstand you?

i have no beef with u,believe me..BTW,how should do i embrace heritage i desire??I find Croatias history fascinating and having a long fighting tradition,always against the turks,every f**kin town in croatia,1000's have a homegrown hero who won a outnumbered battle against the turks,we fought for austria,we were all in the military,high positions,we held austro-hung empire together and kept the turks from penetrating the heart of europe,and unfortunately there were croatian viziers in turk empire...PROUD TO BE CROATIAN
