How about this grekofones? How are you going to justify this with your great history and your Aristotle and PLato?
Plainly this shows what Greeks are made of!!! Those of us who have been in Greece and know Albanians from Greece know very well that this is common in Greece. However you cross the line when do the same to underage immigrant kids. I expect many (let me keep my tongue) senseless, apathetic pigs to answer with HAHAHAHA'S AND lololol's you're Greek after all. It's a shame that only the Balkans know what you are really about...OH WAIT now the world knows too since it was put out on CNN in the US , and other major channels here in New York-New Jersey. By the way if you haven't seen it check on youtube and or diggit, and CNN of course. |

we are not pround for that terrible things that happend our priminister karamanlis put these four caps in jail dont say that all greeks are racists because its false. In all the countries there are bad good peoples.
the bad thing with us(the greeks)is that we cant undrestand that the albanian imigrands make greek economy stronger because they work for a little money. we dont even like our caps they are facist but someone must do the dirty job we cant expect the cops be romantic people the will be gym facist and uneducated people. |

Being romantic and being human are two qualities that belong on a different level. You are romantic with your lover, and human with all. This is what i mean by level. |

I am an English lady and went on holiday to Zante - a Greek island, in 1984, it was a very primitive country, a shack as an airport and two soldiers as gaurds, no swimming pools - far more primitive than Albania today, so I don't know when the Greeks decided they were so much better than you. Perhaps the day they joined the EEC???

Abi,
You've hit the nail right in the head. That's it! As soon as they joined the EU Greeks thought they sh*t don't smell.(even though to date they don't meet the EU standards) Pardon my language.

The one was Greek Pontian from Kazakhstan The video was uploaded by a greek blogger 5 policemen are suspended and being on trial P.S. Several Greek Arrogants usually talk about the ancient past and forget the present that's true However Police is Unhuman almost everywhere in youtube you can find videos of tortures even by modern western democracies |

violation of law by greek police is common there. toruture, harrassment, beating, punishment and any form of human rights violation is there, in any corner. they speak loudly to a reality that still echoes medieval times.
hope one day greek institutions will become accountable; there is no right, whatsoever, to beat or punish a human being and especially an illigal immigrant (unprotected by greek law)! but protected but the universal law of human rights: "The CHART OF HUMAN RIGHTS", one of the cornerstones of the identity of what is called European and EU. Violetion of the chart of human rights is a clear indication that greece is not yet a democracy. everyone who happens to live in greece (even for a short time) understands what kind of society it is. for a greek (most of them, not all of them anyway) you are bad if you are different, especialy if you are unprotected and different. Yet if you are different but protected (e.g. american, canadian, french etc) there is a clear sense of inferiority that greeks display almost all the time. unfortunately, this is one of our neighbour countries. with time, situation may change because greeks may realise that they are damaging their image. for example, they are sensitive (ashamed and feel humiliated) if a EU country tells them that they damage the environment because they do not want to look uneducated (which as a matter of fact is true). the same thing with the violation of human rights; one day they will start to understand that beating an unprotected foreigner is not a value. They need to erradicate the culture of beating and punishing a human being. The society in general must work hard to erradicate this culture that is inherited from the past. But they are not there, still. It needs some more time to advance further. And greek press (part of it) is trying to do it, it is trying to expose facts and make society sensitive to the issue. this is greece, we cannot expect more for the time being. |

the thing is lads - we need a few more ladies to comment!! Not just me. Anyway I'm sure Zante is gorgeous now and it was then - I'm just pointing out that it is a country that has risen very fast, along with many other countries because of its tourism due to joining the EU. To me this should be respected and the policies of EU followed by any nation that has been lucky enough to have been accepted

Thank you that is absolutely the truth! The thing is now after a political system transition we found ourselves in the middle of big issues, and most of what we had was brought down by the rebels and others. Because they thought to destroy what we had in order to build something new, instead of building on the past. We also thought that we could rely on neighbors but you see we thought wrong, dear abi. We should have known we had always been told not to trust the Greeks. Since the beginning of time their only and true weapon has been "snicking up " on people ex. Trojan Horse. I am glad that somebody outside of our region is here to speak in any matter and for any reason, and state the truth. With respect. |

Kazakstan? LOL Anyway, none of us Albanians is about to ask you where those kids came from because we know and we don't expect you to accept the fact that they are both Albanians. As for the fact that a greek person was recording the whole deal: Is that what your Poludwras will use as his alibi to lighten his load? Anyway, tell me this how come in the newspapers there is nothing about the ethnicity of the non-Kazakstani kid? There is nothing said of that other kid's ethnicity , being Albanian that is. It 's ok min zwrizese if we waited for answers from Greeks...Forget it and go help to find some more excuses for these barbaric actions. Just to enlighten some of the Greeks in here and to make my point clearer, what makes this more barbaric than it is is the fact that these are kids not men. Yes policemen are bad everywhere but let's be honest your are just talented in their jobs. This is why Greeks, we are telling you now, this is why you have pushed us to do anything bad that we do we came as sheep in Greece and you turned us into wolves. The bitterness, anger and revenge that you have created in us with you nasty, inhuman, and barbaric treament of Albanians has made us turn against you. Good Job! Opws aplwses tha koiloitheis! Oneira Gluka Greeks! |

1.Antialbanianism exists in Greece as anti-arabism in Spain and France anti-mexicanism in USA half of the immigrants are Albanians 2.Greece has only 17 years which has been an immigrant-receiver before it was giving We have a lot to learn as a society 3.The greek guy from Kazakhstan spoke in TV and the prosecutor took testimony from him the albanians continue to talk about two Albanians do you know who else? the greek ultra-nationalists! it suits them being two albanians 4.There is another video where policemen humiliate slavic women will you cry or only for albanians? 5. About 50 youths have hurled stones and set fire to a car at a police station in Athens whose officers were earlier accused of abusing Afghan immigrants, the Athens News Agency said. ‘Arsonists attack Greek police station’ Greek Anarchists attack the cops! http://www.anarchistnews.org/... 6. A greek blogger uploaded it and the greek blogosphere wrote over 200 posts The greek channels focused on it for days Will you upload a similar video about albanian policemen or you would think the image of your country? 7.All the winter greek students were being beaten by the police protests/riots in Athens is a common event |

Makedon...You are telling me now that because your police bats its own people it has any right to do the same with the foreigners? It's like telling me...You beat your kids so you will go beat the kids of the neighbor too. Second- the key word is riots. Have there being that many riots by Albanians to explain so much violence against them, because i don't remember any. Third- You said it and i am glad...Greeks are xenophobic and racists. Anything less would be wrong, to say the least. Fourth-the fact that after 20 years of injustice and maltreatment of Albanians and having your actions publicized all over the media, all over the world. Now suddenly Greeks are standing up and fighting against injustice? Hold on a second because from the laugh you gave me i am almost crying.Ok. So where were we oh, yes Greeks becoming humans, no dear Makedon, what they are doing is called - PR -. They are fixing their image by showing that they oppose all those things. Why didn't this occur back in 1992-1993-1994-1995 e.t.c. because the Internet was not as powerful, and because Albanians did not know that the same thing would go on ten years after their migration to Greece. Greeks- take for once the responsibility for something. JUST ONCE. |
