Cameroon makes way for a king

“The whole issue is a complete fraud. We do not want to legitimise it by taking part.”

Whilst attention has been focused on Robert Mugabe's attempt to stay in power in Zimbabwe, elsewhere in Africa another president is quietly making moves to lengthen his time in office. via BBC

There will be no such thing as a coup in Cameroon!!! It is strange how after 25 years in power it is only now that the whole world is seeing that our president is a lifetime ruler! I am 25 years old myself, so whatever happens, he is the only president I have ever known! So what's so different? I do not even want to add the years he spent in government before he took the highest office. Get real folks, Biya had been a monarch long before anyone called him so!

Just because the West has found ways to legalize broad daylight corruption does not exclude Western Governments from corruption as well. Infact, the entire Western Logic is based on theft and corruption. International Banking is a scam, International Trade is a scam, Globalization is a scam with potentially disastrous consenquences. I Live in America where the terms of any Credit Card agreement are a clear form of legalized robbery! Not to talk of mortgages! Equities, Shares and all that other crap designed to make the rich richer, and the poor poorer! So you better check your facts before you start calling Blackos thieves, because it is you whiteys who laid the foundation on which all thievery is based! you all just call it something else! Africa will never be free until your plush Banks in Geneva start shutting their doors! after all where do all these corrupt Blackos hide their money?

Yeah right! the UK government! Are we talking about the same country which still tolerates the most extravagant monarchy on earth? Now that I think about it, being British, you really should have no problem with African leaders trying to be kings themselves! Tell me Cerberus, what really has the royal family in Britain done to perpetually deserve their pomp?

The future of Cameroonians is just bleak cos of the ´´shit man´´ who claim to be Mr President. After millions of money spent on education, the plight seemed very little improved.Could we say education is now a factor of unemployment in Cameroon?

The Biya regime has been postponing its problems to a point where explosion is practically inevitable. I take the simple problem of youth unemployment: instead of confronting the problem, Biya and his team have chosen to postpone the ailment by creating more universities and keeping the young men and women in school for as long as possible. Training them to do what, I don't know. When we shall have had 2 million unemployed graduates, we won't need a Charlse Taylor to start a civil war.
