And by its own doing, its days may be numbered.
I only hope that the number is a small one.
MIM Mark - I am the type of person that DOES give most people the benifet of the doubt. I never truly read the koran in the past but I am reading it now. I have been reading more & more about how Islam came to be and see Mohamad as a very "Materialistic" being rather then a great spiritual being. Its just VERY recently that I am finding more & more what you say in this post to be ALMOST true. I say that becasue its my own struggle with wanting to believe that only a fraction (as in many other religons) of the population of Muslims are truly evil. Just as many christians are evil & use religon as a tool rather then a sprititual beliefe to grow on for ones self. Im still learning - just give me time.

Clearly, Islam is at the forefront of essentially all religiously based terrorism in the world today. This is as distinct from political separatist terrorism, which although disruptive and dangerous, is not as murderously maniacal as religiously motivated terrorism that is essentially a call to theological genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Sorry, but it's pretty much all Islam's show. Not interested in the Koran and all of its lovely, incomprehensible poetry and impenetrable prose. Don't care. Wouldn't read it if it was the last book on Earth. I only care about what is going on in the real world today -- exploding cars, exploding trains, exploding trains, exploding martyrs, exploding rockets ... and the odd beheading or two or 100 or 1,000.
That's Islam to me. The Koran is irrelevant.

The problem with Islum is that its no longer anything but a false following or cult. Funny how most of there book was "lost" or "eaten by a goat" and had to be "rewriten" Bah I say nuke em all its the only way to be sure
