First, The criminals who are draining the resources from Africa must be kicked OUT. I'm mainly talking about the Diamond merchants.

His events were all behind closed doors and most people were locked out and had to watch his speech at home on the TV. Disappointing most citizens.

By contrast, Bush spoke outdoors at a large gathering open to the general public and was warmly received while in West Africa.

OBAMA should clean the home before making any sweeping remarks about other nations.
Every IT surfer knows that Tyranny is wiped out from the soil of USA but not corruption.
Think about the costly gimmic in the name of picking a president with corporate sponsored lobbyists money in millions and millions.

the problem is the lack of ability to govern the continent by its inhabitants . they have never been able to rule themselves in a civilized manner, so they had to be led by outside governments to insure the safety of its natives.(kinda like zookeepers). since the end of apartheid the continent have become a virtual killing field evolving from BLACK ON BLACK genocide.

Our WH hypocrite needs to go back to his roots in Chicago, and now in his administration, to end political corruption and tyranny before telling his "blood brothers" in Africa what to do. All you nitwits who voted for and put this hypocrite in the WH and still believe in his promises and lies are either in denial or you are slowly slipping into a coma. If we allow him, he will destroy the USA. A storm is brewing in this country and he has us on a ship without a rudder. Y'all better wake up!

"KIP": Do you have an IQ above 50? I won't bore you by arguing that government-run health care is Socialism, by definition. I also won't bore you with the bottomless pit of horror stories involving the government-run health care systems in Canada and England. You call it "affordable". Are you smoking crack or are you typing with the one finger you've managed to free from your straight jacket? The same federal government that bankrupted Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is going to run what would be the largest federal program in the history of the nation -- and make it afforable? The government has never brought a single project in on budget. It's morons like you who put this fraud in office. Enjoy your government-issued koolaid (and cheese).
Kip is the person that keeps asking "How," and "Why" whilst ignoring answers. The answers are there staring him or her in the face; but Kip will still keep asking the same stupid question. This is, in essence, and perfect sheep. Kip just knows that Obama and the MSN are right, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

I love a good debate; but with obama sheep, and their mindless circular arguments, I find myself getting extrememly bored.

No one questions the virtue of Non-corrupt and anti tyranny society.

Obama stretches his logic too wide in a far off contry about these two virtues while one vice corruption is not yet wiped out from the political spectrum of USA.

"America's first black president spoke with a bluntness that perhaps could only come from a member of Africa's extended family."

Yeah, only b/c the PC guardians have done such a great job infatilizing non-whites in the eyes of white Americans. I don't see anyone in the world hesistant to be blunt with white America just b/c they aren't part of "Europe's extended family".

If genuine respect and equality were cultivated and expected, anybody could criticize anyone without cries of "racism".

Obama's campaign and now Sotomayor's nomination prove that.

But don't expect to see it anytime this century. Still plenty of self falgellation for white Americans to go.

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
