Details emerge in alleged rape involving coach

First the wife says her husband would never do anything like that. Then, she says the girl tricked him into thinking she was 19 years old. Which one is it? Is he a faithful husband who would never rape a 15 year old or does he only go after girls 18 and over.

Obviously he only goes after broads who are 18 and over. lol

Another teen that got herself in over her head then cried rape. It's all fun and games to these girls until someone ends up with a 8 year sentence.

How did he know where to go unless she told him? Half the time I can't find Lehigh township let alone someone from another country.

Would a rapist leave the evidence in plain sight on the coffee table?

Don't get me wrong...he's a sleaze, but so is she..and a liar to boot.

I still don't get how the police had this guy's picture after the rape was reported. How did the girl know who exactly who he was? This story still seems fishy to me. Like someone else had sex with her, left the condom on the cofee table and maybe Mom & Dad found it and she fabricated who did it (after seeing the guys picture in the Mcall in the news article abt Trexlertown)

The story says she got his photo while corresponding with him over the internet. The first paragraph of the story "she had his e-mail address and a photo that he sent when he contacted her."

"She also told the online newspaper that her husband had been ''tricked'' by the girl, who claimed she was 19, into going to her home."

Wife believes he would not do this?????? Bad judgement on both girl and mans part.

Time will sort it all out, but in the meantime, I have to wonder what the wife stuck in another country is going through. Any women, who has a decent marriage would stand up for their husband. This whole thing sounds like a set up, but only the two involved will/do know the complete story. Should get interesting.

As married men we need to keep it in our pants.
Regardless of how old this girl was or how old he thought she was when he decided to "come in the land down under" outside of wedlock he invited trouble.

Thank you Professor Chaos. It sounds like the wife wasn't too surprised about any of it, he must have done this before. I'm not sure if it was rape or not, but it really doesn't matter - he's married!

I am with a lot of the other posters here. This does not sound like an innocent 15 year old girl. I am not taking blame off of him but she had to do a lot for him to come so far to be with her. The Velodrome is great but this coach had other bike tracks in this country including some real nice ones in California to pick from. I think this girl in a round about way brought the Aussie team to the Lehigh Valley so the coach could meet with his online girlfriend...

He's a pig for cheating on his wife, but this sounds like another stupid, stupid little girl playing adult games and then crying rape.

This sounds "fishy" and ala Austin Scott here. If this guy were a rapist, why would he turn himself in? He seems to be an upstanding fellow that needed s-e-x. He goes on line, finds what he believes to be an adult, shows up at her home. Oh, btw, how does he know how to find her? I bet she gave him directions. He goes to the house to do the nasty and the girl then recants after its over. The fellow then realizes that this woman is a "girl", the "girl" has remorse and claims she is raped and he is now in trouble. Bottomline, I am willing to bet that the girl lied to him and is now claiming rape to look like a victim. This needs to become a Karoly case pretty quickly. There also ought to be laws to punish the so called victims in these type of cases. No way was this young girl purported lady raped.

The girl needs to be punished too! The man is a scumbag but he did not just pick her randomly! When you do stupid s*it, bad things happen!

Innocent til proven guilty. Sounds fishy. Why would a older man leave his condom on a bureau for evidence? Did this young girl not make it in the bicycle races or is she sexually active and trying to conceal her boyfriend to her parents? If he is guilty give him the maximun sentence.
