LOL SHORT EYES, maybe Canuck can clarify this for us. Cuba can receive all sorts of information from Miami, Bahamian, Jamaican, Mexican and even the BBC world service. When I was there the time before last I went to a hotel bar near San Juan Hill in WJDC home town of Santiago and sure enough there was CNN in Spanish. On my last trip I did not bother with TV or radio. I know for a fact that the CANF radio station Radio Marti and one other I think VOA is blocked by the installation called Lourdes now funded by the Chinese with American dollars. We waste $40 million a year on Marti and Cubans hear nothing.

Maybe is "under control" but not close or prohibited to communicate to the outside world. Here in USA you can say anything you want that is FREEDOM of speach.
