I communicated with her on her blog and advised her that overseas readers sending donations could cause her problems. It is not unusual for her blog to be blocked.

Of course it's not unusual, its a damn oppressive communist government. They want all the truth blocked from the people.

NO senor, her comments were very mild, dealing with difficulty in finding lemons etc.BUT the responses from the overseas people went beyond the pale with abusive posts

When you consider that car and shortwave radios can pick up Florida stations, the Havana and other north coast residents have no problem with hearing american news.

Listen man. Stick to dancing with the stars. That's what you americans are good for.
Can you tell me how someone in Cuba will go to dell.com and buy a computer? Are you really that stupid or just a troll? I know public education in this country is going down the toilet but whatever school you went to takes first place.

I listened to florida stations everyday as well as Radio Canada, car radios work best in the early morning when there is little commercial traffic. One assumes you do not walk down the street with the SW radio on your shoulder!! But in any case if the san juan idiot were believable he could tell us what it is like today in Havana but one notices that he avoids any comments.Time payments for TVs etc are the norm even the pensioner earning 200 pesos a month can get one eventhough he will have died before paying it off.

The sick abusive comments being placed on her blog by americans(like yourselve) would be a crime in many countries(France for example), thus it makes sense to block it but it appears that the block is not 100%.

Can you give just one justifiable reason for the thugs to block her blog? Besides the obviuos one of them being ruthless thugs trying to cling on to power?
People like you really make me sick. You defend every single thig the regime does while living confortably under the protection of the Canadian Constitution. Your kind of people are the lowest of the low. I guess freedom is a good thing for you to have but not for the people living under the regime that you defend from far away. I can't wait for the day when your kind is dragged down the streets of Habana and then thrown into the ocean.

Anything manufactured with american made parts or sold by an american company cannot be sold to cubans on the island. BUT the point is that these and other luxury electrical items are allowed as the cuban generating capacity has increased.Time payments are organized for frigs, TVs etc. but I do not know if computers are sold under payment plans. Not that a computer uses much power in any case.

Yes communists always seem to find freedom of expression sick and abusive. Unless of course it is favorable to their cause. Your day is coming...dragged down Habana and thrown over El Malecon.
